Insurance Confusion
well for starters claim off your bro-in law insurance not yours as its a no fault claim...value is basically them looking in autotrader at a similar 300zx car and offering that as the deal less 20% for buying back the wreck...remember if you dont have agreed value policy you will get the avg value of a smiliar TT auto first dibs on your navan shifter if you break her :D

very odd....happened yesterday i looked out of the kitchen window and noticed the drivers side headlamp was on....when checking the dash etc everything was set to off....so fiddled with the indicator stalk and light switch and it went off....but came back 2 hours later.....did the same thing again it went off....any ideas what the hell that is all about?

Has anyone used Ace Alloy wheel repairers?
i was going to use the ace mob ages ago but after a couple of enquiries with local garages i found there was a small outfit local...so no postage costs...you might be best off asking around local mechanics etc and hopefully find someone tucked away in a industrial unit 5 mins from your door

TPS help!
i find most multi meters i have ever used have trouble reading such small scale volts like 0.5v etc with any degree of accuracy...try calibrating yours first on a fixed line something like a 5v line then go back and do the readings also use this link http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=83683&highlight=tps now will you subscribe ;) :D

Blanking off rear wiper
nope its not a spare...but its just the right size for the hole left behind when pulling off the wiper...its a case of measure that one and see if you can get a match..i've been looking for one for ages now....but failing that i guess a patch could be knocked up to cover the hole under the spare wheel if you do rob / use that one....its out of sight so doesnt have to be pretty or anything

I want a 240z but why so expensive????

guilty until
proven innocent? this really undermines natural justice....how about you get really large employers set up their own database because they cant be bothered to use the courts / police...this is basically staff they accuse of theft, fraud, damaging company property etc they then sack them or the staff quit but who arent actually convicted of anything what a fooking joke http://www.hicom.co.uk/businesssolutions/nsdr.htm it goes that you dont even have to have been convicted of any criminal offence to be on this....its just the say so of your old boss/firm with their self appointed standard of proof and bingo its shared around different companies...branded for life and no job!!!

Glastonbury 2008 - The Verve
there has been hip hop n rap n reggae at G'bury for years and years now...so i cant see the beef with JZ being there it just shows noel (oasis) never went further than his motorhome in the parking lot of the pyramid stage....but i take issue with the fact i nor any of my friends can actually hum any of JZ's songs which you do need for a good old rip-roaring live show IMHO....dave gilmore not needed either....prog rock can stick up its own 3 day festival (should be just long enough for a rick wakeman keyboard solo) but i for one wont be going :D

Another Ebayer to avoid!
i nearly got ripped off for over £500 on ebay...the man i bought from had my money for 3 months and was ignoring me and the complaints were being posted by loads of other unhappy buyers....well one phone call to a mate in trading standards...and a cheque turned up 3 days later...i'd recommend trading standards over paypal complaints any day

In need of Help?
well for my money whistling kettle noise is usually turbo related...boiling bubbling noises are most likely AIV's or air locks in the coolant system....marbles rattling in a tin noises are detonation....det sensor replacement is an engine out job which is cool if you're doing the turbo replacement at the same time...or you can solder a resistor to bypass the sensor IIRC any local member might be bribed for a pint to confirm what noise you have.... i'm too far away but cheers and welcome to the club
