clutch slip could be that the freeplay has got a tad low or gone altogether if the pedal needs adjusting...its a small pin and locking nut high up on the pedal arm...bugger to get to :( but cheaper than a whole new clutch :)

nash i called i'm waiting for the underwriters to come back on monday...and i tried houghtons first off...they came up with the chaucer quote for £200 extra

calling the over 35's with twin turbo...who can recommend a limited milage / 2nd car (or classic) policy i got a garage / driveway etc...chaucher are trying to jump mine up £200 this year :eek: thanks in advance

i'm considering taking the sump off to do the g/box oil change and give the strainer a clean etc....do you need a new sump gasket or is it not required? anyone done this messy job cheers

indeed it sounds like the drain tube is exiting in to the footwell and not out throught the wing as happened to me a while ago....pour some water down the targa drain hole and stick your head down in the footwell...if its pouring in then your tube has popped off the exit pipe
