do it yourself...i just did with the help of some great members on here...downside was grubby hands and some ruined clothing....the upside is you wont be at the mercy of garages in the future as you will have the knowledge to do stuff yourself

without being overly technical Lisa do you actually have any freeplay in the clutch pedal when depressing it because if the freeplay isnt there that causes slip if it needs adjusting....on your back in the footwell...small pin with a locking nut adjusts the clutch pedal travel....its high up so a torch often helps you to see whats whats etc

well after spending a couple of years parked up in various fields around the south east the series 4 came alive on sat :nana2:....thanks go to topless & mtl & sussex stu :duffer::bow:...its in the bodyshop today for minor dents an peeling paint repair this week...conzult checked out she's running fine .....just a small drip of coolant from the front inlet when turned off, nothing major......hopefully i'll get the mot next week as long as i can source some suitable mid sections let me know if anyone has anything going right now cheers chris

i took my angle grinder back as it burnt out after just 6 discs use....the thing smoked like a bugger and almost went up in flames...so packed it up and went back to get a replacement..the guy in the warehouse says we have to test it before doing a swap...i said on your head be it as its ready to go up in flames...anyways he nods sagely and off he goes to the test bench i hear him plug it in and go for a spin...5 secs later loads of smoke and yep the store fire alarm is triggered so we and 100 other people have to evacuate the store :headvswal....took almost 1 hour to get a blooming swap done :wack:
