  4. being logical here if the pump works when you run it out of the car (i assume) with a different lead powering it then do what aircraft electricians do when something doesnt work, simply run a new cable to the pump motor bypassing the old cable altogether
  5. so pump works when not on the car but when fitted it makes a noise but no fuel comes out....right? for my money it could be either the impeller (blades) inside the pump are not spinning or there is a block in the tank
  6. still got any freeplay in the pedal?...may need adjusting if the clutch has bedded in and the play has disappeared happened on mine about 200 miles after the new clutch was fitted

  10. well a lack of ignition key wasnt gonna hold me back after i picked up the new car (Series 4 Jap Spec 2+2 TT Auto).... the beast came alive first time...smoked like lewes on bonfire night...to be expected really as turbos seals are cooked but all good so far....cheers to Topless and Sussex Stu

  16. a couple of bits of info could help non turbo? cloth or leather interior? colour? any body kit? tax? mot? approx mileage alloys standard or aftermarket? stainless stell exhaust? cheers

  24. thats an odd collection of problems...maybe bad earth or as you say a faulty jump caused everything to spike out might be worth leaving the battery off for 1 hour then reconnecting, might reset the ecu back to default?....possibly unplug the ecu entirely for a while?....or try a different battery...and have a look at the earth strap to the car body see if its loose or painted on etc
