Not long had a new clutch, on hard acceleration, I can smell the clutch burning smell when I stop, is this ok or cant the clutch handle the extra power, she's running around 350bhp.

still got any freeplay in the pedal?...may need adjusting if the clutch has bedded in and the play has disappeared happened on mine about 200 miles after the new clutch was fitted

Any oil around the bottom of the bellhousing/gearbox ?

You could have a rear crank seal leak which is contaminating the clutch....the seal itself is only about a tenner, but unfortunatly you need to remove the gearbox again to replace it :(

 

You'll need to get underneath or take it to a garage to diagnose for definite though.

Stock clutches dont really like increased power but usually a new genuine OEM Nissan clutch should be able to handle a moderate increase without slipping for a while. Do you have boost jets or a boost controller...you could try turning the boost down to see if it still slips on stock power.

Shes running with boost jets, cant feel any slipping at all.
