Has anyone done....
No mate, im talking about divorced down pipes, ie from the turbo to the begining of the decat pipes.
-
intercoolers
err. no. If you want to be pushing that much hp (which im going to guess is going to cost you copious amounts of money) why would you want to put ebay shite on your car??? you want to go with tried and tested technology instead of ebay cack. Look at Greddy SMIC's or the Z1 SMIC's look like a very good option IMHO of course :D Nick

Has anyone done....
... a "How To" guide for changing over Down pipes and Decats??? If not, im going to changing mine over in the couple of weeks or so, and i can create a "how to" guide if anyone thinks its a good idea. Tried searching here and TT.net and i havent managed to find anything, and it might be usefull to some people who would like to get a bit more hands on with their zed. Nick

Coolant leak top back of plenum.
Yep, agree with stu, heater matrix pipes. Be careful mate, because when they split it doesnt take long for them to completely rupture, it cost me a head gasket once!

Found My Daily Drive :)
all well and good, but you get to a 1 degree corner AND YOU WILL DIE. Ive driven one, and its the worst experience ive ever had! FFS, it nearly killed the stig . The smart coupe on the other hand is a FABULOUS car. I would seriously consider that.

Help Needed! Please
First things first, welcome to the club Im sorry mate, but did you try before you buy???? Check the plugs and see what condition they are in, clean the contacts on the MAF (black box after the air filter) water temp sensors (yellow and black sensors on front water pipe at front of the engine) CAS (round metal object sticking out of r/h cam cover) and TPS (throttle position sensor, black squared sensor on rh throttle body) This should keep you occupied for an hour or so, and if it still aint right im sure someone else maybe able to narrow it down some more HTH Nick

Venue Recommendations
Been to a nice pub recently that does great food and would be ideal for a meet??? Been to a go-karting site that show whos the best driver in the region??? Know any paintballing places that offer good rates for groups??? If you can think of ANYWHERE that you think would make a great place to have a meet..... let us all know. Name the venue, give some details on what makes it ideal for a meet, and post a link, and ill do my level best to organise a meet for us all to enjoy. Get naming peeps Nick The List Skirmish Paintballing at Lasham superb for group events - they'll do a bbq for you, arrange large group games etc - I use them for work events occassionally: http://www.skirmishlasham.com/ Goodwood motor circuit very very helpful and allow clubs to use the paddock area for meets etc - no contact details with me but googling them should be easy enough. http://www.goodwood.co.uk/ Hayling Island Sailing club Host car events too. Also "Inn on the Beach" on Hayling - they host the hot rod events every summer. http://www.hisc.co.uk/hisc2.asp Thorney Island Army Base Have the capabilities to host a (BIG) event if necessary - but can't image 300zx.co.uk could get enough people together. http://forcesthorneyisland.2day.ws/ "The Seven Stars" Public House on the A272 Near the A3 at petersfield has amazing food, good beer and a superb car park ideally suited to car meets. (Several clubs i've belonged to used it). The A272 is also a legendary route for spirited driving. http://www.multimap.com/hotels/?title=Pubsulike%20The%20Seven%20Stars&hloc=GB|GU323PG Beaulieu Motor Museum Have a paved area for car clubs to display on, have a good canteen, and obviously there is the museum and plenty of other attractions for the rest of the family. http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/

A couple of quick reminders:
First things first, Julys Phoenix Monthly Meet is on Sunday the 6th July at 2PM, last month we managed to get 11 cars, lets see if we can beat that and make the best of whatever bitish summer we have. Details are on this thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110239 Secondly, can you all cast your eyes on this thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=111989 , obviously I would like to get a good few out for this, so this is YOUR chance to choose when i best for you! Take a gander at this to see whats planned http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=111945 I know money is tight for most, BUT please do not feel that you HAVE to bring your zed to any meet. Its as much about the people as it is the cars ;) Peace:smw: Nick
