Pulled over for my plate today
Put it this way, the copper you spoke to doesnt have a clue what he is talking about, he has been confused on the fact that imported cars can wear the registration plate from there originating country for 3 months prior to being registered in the country as opposed to actual number plate size/lettering/spacing for imported vehicle numberplates. Now i cant be precise with you coz i cant actually measure your lettering and spacing, but to my proffesional eye, it looks ok, could possibly do with being a touch wider(the W looks cramped and the spacing on SMW looks a touch close). Do a quick search on here, someone put up the numberplate legislation recently, and im sure youll find your plate is perfectly legal, and if not, it wont be far off. HTH from your resident plod Nick

splitting up MAYBE
Chris, i can relate to your case, when i ran a pub and was doing 100 hours plus a week, it was hard but at least she could come and sit with me and see me. Now doing the work i do, with the unsociable shifts and hours i do, we go through the same as you, just seem to be two ships crossing in the night. The only way we seem to keep ourselves sane, is we chat for a bit when i get in, no matter what time or for how long. could be for 10 min, could be for an hour. But we keep as much contact as we can. The other thing is that when we both have time off together, we make sure we do something and not just sit around the house. Communication is key mate, you keep that going and youll do alright HTH and all the best Nick

Another Fuel Thread
Just read this on Piston Heads http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=18135 Is it me, or is this turning out to be the most publicised political suicide there has been in years??? I mean "A Treasury spokesman denied that fuel taxes were too high, saying they were justified because they were green and designed to reduce carbon consumption." Idiots!

quick vid of my car
Why you would want to sell that car mate is beyond me, its soooooo close to being absolutally stunning. Get it lowered and 99spec front on, and it will be one of the nicest zeds around. DONT GIVE UP!!!!

Hello All
Looks like an extremely tidy example there mate. Welcome :D

VG30DETT engine varients through the years.
IIRC the zed wasnt making much profit so they ditched it to save on costs. TBH i would go for a late 94/95 engine out of a series 4, most faults were sorted and its much the aftermarket selection for injectors is similar to the zeds rivals.
