  5. yeah, but do you really need to worry about the first 2500 revs when your going to be running as high rpm as 9000+?
  6. I woudnt use that word, Funky will have a fit!:nelson:
  7. just realised that. Ill find the name of the company of the people my dad used for his motorbike internals. No tacho mate, just boost oil temp water temp at the moment and oil pressure due to be wired in soon using the Mk2 control panel with the peak warn and record facility, but the quality is just outstanding. Ill take some photos for you

  10. Id agree with smithy. Find out EXACTLY what the damage is before you make any decisions. There is no point jumping ship when youve only got rusty arches, which is nothing major.
  11. Come on guys, a load of you expressed an interest in this, get your names down!
  12. Dream theatre was Stevie Vai wasnt it. AWESOME guitarist!
  13. Nice one Stu, As long as its not August bank holiday (due to work commitments for Notting Hill Carnival), im in.
  14. Yeah, your deffinatly going to have to get the crank balance, and probably "knife edged" as well to reduce its rotating mass. Then your also going to have to look at the valve train, which to eyes looks like youve covered quiet well. Id also probably look at your big/small end bearings and crank bearings. Obviously, if you want a certain part of your engine to spin faster, you want your bearings to be able to handle the extra friction involved with this sort of work. TBH im not 100% sure on what factors defines how high an engine can rev, and V6's arnt really known to be high revvers. All i can do is apply common sense. It may well be worth speaking to one of the big skyline tuners, its not unusual for the Big Boys in the skyling world to be hitting 9.5/10,000rpm on an N1 bottom end HTH nick
  15. our 08 525d is the same, cost £107 to fill up from empty the other day
  16. I can see what Yampie may be trying to get at, that she MAY have been a serial complainer known for exadurating her ailments/symptoms etc etc etc............ BUT what ever the "bigger picture" may be with regarding the actual patient the hospital have a DUTY OF CARE to ALL patients which they have obviously neglected, which over rules every possible "bigger picture"
