Done Cheers mate

what's the highest a modified Zed can rev to?
yeah, but do you really need to worry about the first 2500 revs when your going to be running as high rpm as 9000+?

Are we turning into a classic car club?

just realised that. Ill find the name of the company of the people my dad used for his motorbike internals. No tacho mate, just boost oil temp water temp at the moment and oil pressure due to be wired in soon using the Mk2 control panel with the peak warn and record facility, but the quality is just outstanding. Ill take some photos for you

Looks like i was wrong, Stevie was with WhiteSnake for a fair old while. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream_Theater

when do u know that . . . ITS TIME!!!
Id agree with smithy. Find out EXACTLY what the damage is before you make any decisions. There is no point jumping ship when youve only got rusty arches, which is nothing major.

Yeah, your deffinatly going to have to get the crank balance, and probably "knife edged" as well to reduce its rotating mass. Then your also going to have to look at the valve train, which to eyes looks like youve covered quiet well. Id also probably look at your big/small end bearings and crank bearings. Obviously, if you want a certain part of your engine to spin faster, you want your bearings to be able to handle the extra friction involved with this sort of work. TBH im not 100% sure on what factors defines how high an engine can rev, and V6's arnt really known to be high revvers. All i can do is apply common sense. It may well be worth speaking to one of the big skyline tuners, its not unusual for the Big Boys in the skyling world to be hitting 9.5/10,000rpm on an N1 bottom end HTH nick

This is awful
I can see what Yampie may be trying to get at, that she MAY have been a serial complainer known for exadurating her ailments/symptoms etc etc etc............ BUT what ever the "bigger picture" may be with regarding the actual patient the hospital have a DUTY OF CARE to ALL patients which they have obviously neglected, which over rules every possible "bigger picture"

Paintball contest between regions !
Paul, cheers for inviting us, and sorry for the late reply, i was waiting to see what the result of the poll was for a date for Julys meet. The masses (of 4) have spoken and its going to fall on the 20th, so personally i cannot afford to do both and afford to fix the zed. You might want to get your facts straight Dave. I took over in march when we had the first Phoenix meet (and every subsequent month) and Reading, April had Jap performance meet, May was Japfest and Z008 where everyone who posted said they didnt want an additional local meet, and June we had our first "off area meet" OF THE YEAR at the RR day which turned out to be an excellent event, and Julys meet has been in the making for nearly 4 weeks and is LOCAL to every one. Nothing is stopping you from arranging your own LOCAL meets dave.

North to South Run - Julys Monthly Meet - Sunday 20th
SC Crew. Following the poll, this month North 2 South Lunch run will be held on the 20th The route starts just off Jnc11 of the M4. Turn off onto the A33 towards Basingstoke and there is a BP garage where there used to be a Little Chef with a reasonable sized car park. For those who live near the top of the ground i will be there at 11:00am From there Cross Country to Jnc5 of the M3 where there is a big layby in the turning signed for Odiham (same place we used for the Jap performance sunday meet) Ill be there for about 11:30 We then go through Odiham to Alton (lovely fast twisty road) and use this as the second check point for people to join in From Alton we'll go down the A31 to Winchester (3rd check point) about 12:15 From Winchester down the A272 across Petersfield. This is an AWESOME road, one of the best in Hampshire. The final leg is from Petersfield down the A3M to Hailing Island where there is a few nice places to have a nice bit of Lunch and chill on the beach in whats looks like Glorious weather. We should get there around the 2pm sort of time. If you dont want to do the whole route, thats fine, call me on my mobile on the day and ill tell you which check points were between and where you can meet us. 1)nickz32 - J11 M4 2)steve burns - J11 M4 3)andy isherwood 4)ianl - M3 Jnc 5 5)madmarco - M3 Jnc 5 6)sussex_stu - J11 M4 7)nutter4249 8)300_zedx - M3 Jnc 5 Nick 07810334043
