  7. Why you would want to sell that car mate is beyond me, its soooooo close to being absolutally stunning. Get it lowered and 99spec front on, and it will be one of the nicest zeds around. DONT GIVE UP!!!!
  8. Looks like an extremely tidy example there mate. Welcome :D
  9. IIRC the zed wasnt making much profit so they ditched it to save on costs. TBH i would go for a late 94/95 engine out of a series 4, most faults were sorted and its much the aftermarket selection for injectors is similar to the zeds rivals.
  10. Funny how they are willing to set on Sadam for imaginary WMD's and yet goverments arnt interested in mass Genacide, unless its in new european states such as Serbia/bosnia.
  11. VVT didnt go till 1996, and the power loss is negligable. From late 1994 onwards, they came with 300 degree fuel rails and changed the injectors, so you now have more options for injector CC. AIV's were taken off aswell, and i think there was something else as well but i cant remember HTH Nick
  12. I ment for this meet, but since your not coming AGAIN, it shouldnt concern you :D
  13. June's monthly is the RR day at Surrey Rolling Road on the 28th. Actually, the very north of our ground is Oxford and funnily enough dave the very south of our ground is Niton in the IOW, but you dont see us going there do you..... :smw::tongue:
  14. Got my tickets yesterday. Just sorted out a gas cooker and a huuuuuge gazeebo as well. Doing it proper this year :D :D :D :duffer:
  15. I wouldnt say i would keep the zed no matter what, but things will have to get alot worse before i do sell it. The new road tax increases dont effect us, its only for cars made after 2002. Im not saying our tax wont go up, but we certainly wont be paying 500 a year on road tax anytime soon for the zed. If anything i think the yearly running costs of an older performance car will be a dam sight cheaper than buying a newer performance car, hey, it might even bump the value up a bit (wishfull thinking) Unlike my previous zed ownership, my current zed isnt a daily drive, so if i cant afford to put petrol in it, it can sit on the drive, if i cant afford to tax it, ill sorn it. The only thing that would make me consider selling would be if insurance rocketed. Saying that, im fooking of to canada in a few years, and ill take the car with me!
  16. Let me know when you find a retailer mate, id love one

  21. SC Crew, Thought id start in advance in planning for July's monthly meet. I thought maybe we could re-attempt the North to South Breakfast Run (or lunch time if preffered) that i set up in march - The route starts just off Jnc11 of the M4. Turn off onto the A33 towards Basingstoke and there is a BP garage where there used to be a Little Chef with a reasonable sized car park. From there Cross Country to Jnc5 of the M3 where there is a big layby in the turning signed for Odiham (same place we used for the Jap performance sunday meet) We then go through Odiham to Alton (lovely fast twisty road) and use this as the second check point for people to join in From Alton we'll go down the A31 to Winchester (3rd check point) From Winchester down the A272 across Petersfield. This is an AWESOME road, one of the best in Hampshire. The final leg is from Petersfield down the A3M to Southsea onto the coast by the ferry port where there is a few nice places to have a nice bit of Brekkie or Lunch -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you lot still fancy doing this and enjoying some of the souths best roads, or would you like to do something else. Another bonus is that the route pretty much does down the "spine" of the area, so people to the far east and west only have to potentially travel half way across to get onto the route, and remember, you dont have to start at the begining of the route if you dont want.
