  1. I have the 21" Bosch jobbies from Halfords. They cost about £18 per pair and in conjuction with Rain-X they work very well.
  2. Everybody lost to it, even the alleged 600cc rating against 1000cc bikes it still won - helped a little by the professional rider of course. Actually, I think it holds the record as the fastest British bike ever at the IOM TT. Anyway, interesting info here :- http://auto.howstuffworks.com/rotary-engine.htm
  3. A mate of mine (who raced against the Norton) used to refer to it as an 1800cc single stroke motor.
  4. Dunno, I wasn't tall enough to get a proper lick ! ;)
  5. Trust me, it wouldn't fit ! (in the conventional place anyway!) ;)
  6. LOL I didn't find one ! ;)
  7. I doubt whether it makes a massive difference these days - most fuel now claims to have the cleaning additives included. I have used it myself in the past and in order to make it a bit more concentrated I put a whole bottle in about 1/4 tank of fuel - not sure how much that helps, but I just felt that a few cc's in 14 gallons of fuel can't do much !
  8. Bought mine from Courtesy and they were fine for my Jap import.
  9. Have a look at http://www.screwfix.com they will have those portable site lights and I'm sure some will be 240v rather than the usual 110v.

Doubt it, and it would burn off pretty quickly anyway.
  11. S'nuthin' - this is what happens when it lets go properly. And for those poeple who might not recognise them, the lumps of metal near in the front were once valves !

You mean high capacity but dreadful latency !
  13. Sorry, you can't do that, there is simply not enough room to pour 2 litres of water in each cylinder - you only have 3 litre engine ! :D
  14. Hmmm, well I just took the opportunity to measure my Poxy T1's and as far as the width of the tread touching the road goes then I have to agree with Gio !
  15. Standard pressures are 36 rear, 33 front. Yours may vary a little with different sized tyres - experiment and see what 'feels' right.
  16. Try Mike Feeney for the matrix - the Courtesy ones will be for a left hooker and no good to you.
  17. Having consulted my expert here, MkI & MkII boxes are notchy. try changing the oil, failing that live with it !
  18. What we need is that pic of the Mac 1 Stilton beast ! Where did that pic go ????
  19. Actually, I'd keep petrol well away from anything plastic. Try isopropryl alcohol or meths.
  20. That is a typical PTU symptom.

Sounds to me like the speed limiter at 112 mph.
  23. Have you looked in the online manual in the FAQ section ?
