  1. Been looking into this but can't find the option in the damn forum software - assuming it's actually there. Maybe Mike could take a look ....
  2. I'll be going up to Preston in a few weeks. Girlfirend lives near Leyland which is only a couple of miles from there. Alternatively, maybe the Duffer could drop it at her place and she could bring it down to mine. See her most weekends so it won't take that long to get down here. Depends how much of a hurry you're in really - if it's for the convertible then I guess not much ! ;) LOL
  3. I vaguely remember you lot voting on having the message indicate whether you are a subscribed member or not. Think that Craig made the initial changes, but perhaps not all have been compeleted yet. Whenever I change someones status I always update it to "Subscribed Member"
  4. Sugguest you use the one in the url of your rides page - it is unique to you.

Wasn't aware that you'd sent any money, presume Craig has got your cheque, so consider job done.
  6. But it is legal .... Anyway, some guys in the US actualy hacked the front bumper to remove the plate mounting lump - but that's becuase they're luck enough not to need a front plate in their state. http://zdriver.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=537&thumb=1

Nah, looks like a bit of BBC special effects kit from a 1970's Dr. Who ! Zed's are smooth & curvy, not straight & angular. Navan ones are nicer. ;)

You may run into space problems on the Rides section. You really need to host it somewhere else. Most ISP's give you 10Mb or more as part of the subscription deal.
  9. Not exactly head on, but it's from the 1999 spec brochure.
  10. Yup, non-standard vents, and UK plate just bolts straight on. Should imagine it flexes a bit when I'm wellying it though, although there are no marks on the bodywork to indicate it goes that far.
  11. Whether I actually had a drop in power is debatable - the drive ratios are different and it was run on a different dyno on a different day, so who knows .... Can't remember when I last checked my timing (it doesn't move does it!) and putting a different gearbox on the back of the engine will make no difference whatsoever to the cam/ignition timing on the front. I may be tempted to go and check it now though ...
  12. Presuming you mean the earth, then it's likely to go to the chassis (firewall) and engine.
  13. Like this one ? Yeah, I know it's not silver, but the plate is legal anyway.
  14. Have you swapped that injector yet ? What concerned me was that we never saw a wet spark plug ....
  15. That is like understatement of the decade -you'll break the seat mountings before the brakes work enough to stop the car !!!!
  16. And what he will tell you for a quick, driveable car (that shreds tyres) is to put a manual box on an auto engine ! ;)
  17. Hurrah ! It's about time you put your money where your mouth (turbos ?!?) is and showed that red beasite with it's power supping autobox wheezing it's way to 245rwbhp !!! LOL :D
  18. Got a pukka Blitz boost gauge from Johnny at GPS. Electronic, stepper motor jobbie - dead easy to fit, very accurate and hold/peak functions too. http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/2003/gauges.html
  19. You can buy flexible MDF, not easy to bend the normal stuff though.
  20. I do recollect hearing that the location pin on the end of the CAS shaft can wear, that could cause some variation - but 15 deg is a helluva lot !
  21. IIRC mine is with Lifesure which is underwritten by AON, so there's not much point in you sending them their own policy is there ?
