  3. Yeah, called 'em earlier to pay but the gurlie who deals with it is off today and they couldn't find the paperwork ...... 'Sposed to be calling me back (yeah right) ....
  4. BP Launches BP Ultimate 7th October 2003 http://www.bp.com/centres/press/p_r_detail.asp?id=1014 Can't find any real technical detail, although it says :- Further information: BP Milton Keynes Press Office, 01908 853000
  5. Get a six point socket or one of the 4wd ones - they will shift most things. And btw WD40 is useless as a penetrating oil - it's a water dispersant. Use the real thing like Plus Gas.
  6. See this for much more appropriate use of English ! http://www.aestheticdesigns.net/funny/properenglish.html Don't have the sound on too loud though ;)
  7. I think so, which I why I do mine to 80lb/ft - nice and evenly. I think the manual says something like 74lb/ft
  8. Happened to mine a couple of days after fitting, removed and greased bush - no problem since.
  9. I'm expecting mine to be about 300rwbhp. Power mods are intake, exhaust, SE chip and about 12.5psi boost. Rest of the cobblers is on my rides page.
  10. My guess is the bushes on the anti-roll (sway) bar. If they are dry then you get exactly that type of creek as the bar rotates within them.
  11. Holy shite, what a mess - was quick off the mark though ! At least they have an easy way of checking the oil level now ! ;) LOL
  12. How about a pair or A'Pexi's on the ends ? Danny ???
  13. With her big sister !
  14. You bunch of sad feckers - it's a lump of metal ferchrissakes ! (Except Stu of course - his is a lump of rust ! LOL :D)
  15. They have a worm/virus. Don't run that attachment - it has a nasty virus embedded.
  16. It's normal practice for a sticker to be placed on the cambelt cover indicating the mileage at which the belt was last changed. Failing that it should be in the service history, if not then it may not have been done. If it was a DIY then you may have a receipt at least showing that a belt had been purchased ....

To the best of my knowledge the SE chip uses modified Nissan code, not JWT (which is also modified Nissan code of course).
  18. Thanks. But thanks are also due to Mike Groves as he hosts it for free. Without whom .... etc etc Also, just to be absolutely honest, there is very little real content on my site, it's primarily a directory to resources hosted elsewhere.
  19. In principle yes, but there are limitations to what we can do with this forum s/w. I had intended to keep it simple - just create categories within a read-only forum and then copy relevent posts into each area as they turned up. This way we keep all the useful info in one place which saves tons of searches and duplication. Downside is that the onus is on the mods/admin to move the posts. To make it more formal and professional would be fantastic but I was unable to commit that much time, not to mention that my web design skills are, um, limited to say the least. So, any and all help is appreciated.

Usually is just the seals that fail and then they smoke heavily. Generally car still runs OK though, but you do Red Arrows impressions. If there is an oil supply problem then they can seize and assuming only one has gone then you will never see the boost gauge raise about about 0psi. Which means loss of power.
  21. With a ConZult or Techtom you ought to be able to see the BSCV's come on at 60 deg C water temp - that would at least tell you that the ECU thinks that it's OK to raise boost above the standard 7psi and is trying to do it.
  22. I'd have no problem with that as I really don't have time to do all this stuff at the moment (as you can see from the last time my web site was updated). Just being Admin without really doing any Mod stuff is sucking up time I don't have. I had originally planned a read only Tech forum in order to capture all the useful info that gets posted here, (like a vote to FAQ in effect), but AndrewG wanted to focus on the other upgrades first, which I did. So now might be agood time to revisit this or put forward alternative suggestions.
  23. So just to play devils advocate here .... How would you feel about this if club funds had been used to play for a club stand and provide x free tickets for club members, as the UK Z Club do for these type of events ?
  24. The handling between the series I, II & III models varies a lot. Early ones are seriously twitchy at the rear and a real challenge, the newer ones are better and also more powerful. My mates one is making over 225 rwBHP, which ain't bad for a hairdressers car !
