Fuses for convertible - what are these?
As your sub draws 10A max (the approx equivalent to the headlights being on) you could take the +12V off the powered seat feed which comes up under the driver's seat (white wire) The circuit is constant +12v and fused with a 30A fuse and circuit breaker. Circuit diagrams below: el-10-11.pdf bf-33.pdf Normally I would take the +12V feed directly from the battery, but in your case the sub is low power. If your sub blows/trips the circuit the seats and windows will stop working. Put an in-line 10A fuse in the spur to the sub. Interior trim diagrams for 2 seater and convertible below: BT-13-16.pdf

Meow! You certainly went for outback routes - lovely views though. May need to bring a more rugged Zed for future Lakes tours...

Did a bit of digging for you Mike, the mirror heater button should look like this(?) and the US FSM circuit diagram showing the wiring for the heated mirrors is attached below (note the © and (D) differences between convertibles and the rest of the models). el-69.pdf

Bluetooth playback ~ background speaker ‘schsissing’ noise
I'm looking at the user manual. Have you followed the setup and pairing procedure as described and noted the limitation regarding BT phone use (hands free) and BT audio (page 13)?

AJ4 Ultra Red Spray Paint
I can't provide you with a comparison as I haven't used HFs paints for bodywork jobs. The P4U paint comes out of the nozzle in a thin vertical "band" and layers up beautifully. The TK3 colour match (with the clear coat) was perfect. It just feels and looks (to me) like a high quality product and based on my experience I don't think you will be disappointed for the jobs you have in mind.
