is it safe to use dump valves or hybrid dump valves
Why you would not want to install BOV's on a engine with a MAF sensor: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=2421113 -Andrew

My 1st 300ZX - and lovin' it!
Personally, I would change it out. The cost and grief of having an 11 year old cambelt snap is not worth it. If you do, replace the tensioner at the same time and thoroughly check the cambelt pulleys. -Andrew

Moving out of the way for emergency vehicles
Interesting figures from the IAM: http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/legal--motoring-advice/2012-10/more-confusion-over-traffic-lights-and-emergency-vehicles/ Legally, you can cross a red light if directed to do so by a police officer. You can be prosecuted if it’s a fire engine or an ambulance. -Andrew

brake bleed
spritley, the correct order is in the FSM link above... -Andrew

brake bleed
Flush the old fluid out with new fluid, a litre should do it. Watch for the change in colour as the new fluid comes out. Old fluid is usually darker. Bleeding the ABS unit should not be a problem, provided you have bleed nipples on the unit. Later models 94+ didn't always have them as Nissan changed the supplier. -Andrew

brake bleed
Yes, as per FSM steps shown in link above. You have Brembo calipers fitted? If so, you will need to bleed both sides of each caliper, outer nipple first then inner nipple. -Andrew
-
brake bleed
Yes, nipples are next to pipes marked FR, FL (front pair) and B (back). -Andrew
-
brake bleed
Pre '94 models have two bleed nipples on the ABS unit. Make sure you follow bleed order and procedure as per FSM: http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/br/005.gif -Andrew

wobble nuts
Make sure you have correctly fitted/sized hub centric rings so that the weight of the car is loaded onto axle hub and the center bore of the wheel. That way the wobble nuts will be holding just the tension loads. -Andrew

Diff and transmission cooling
From memory, oil coolers were added/upgraded to Euro spec cars after high speed testing by Nissan on German autobahns. The description of the system is here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/pd/035.gif Circuit diagram: http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/pd/037.gif -Andrew

Which wire on the audio stereo wire harness is for the power antenna? (w/pics)
EL-95 has wiring diagram for power antenna. Just enter 95 into page field on online FSM. Some aftermarket radio players will have a "power antenna" connection output signal to extend the power antennna when the radio is selected. You can splice that into the power antenna timer module. -Andrew

Recirc question
No, it won't. Goose honk is always there. It just becomes more noticeable as you take off things like the standard air filter box to fit a single aftermarket air filter and then go to a dual filter setup which removes the T piece. You can get rid of it with one of these: http://bde-performance.com/goose.htm -Andrew
