  1. Which WL bushes did you go for (part#)? When I did some research on them a while back, there were two types made by WL which could be used in the Z32 application. As far as I can tell the WL bushes are the nearest in compliance to the OEM bushes currently available (other than buying a complete new subframe).
  2. Welcome and look forward to seeing your car in the metal. Your 300ZX journey starts today!
  3. Hubert, it would be great to meet you again at the NEC. I hope you can make it! As Simon has mentioned our next French adventure is being thought about, so with your help we could make it something special!
  4. Lovely black convertible.
  5. Car belonged to TwinTurboPete on TT.net. Highly modified! http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetrides/rides.aspx?user_id=35
  6. Lovely jubbly! Just needs to find a caring new owner.
  7. One of these would be very cool in a man cave.
  8. Wow, double glazed windows!
  9. The car is missing the OEM grey accent strip on all the bits it should have one. A respray could be one reason. That is a very yellow yellow. OEM yellow is much softer. Worth a look though.
  10. Much cleaner - red Z badge on white background looks just right.
  11. Yes you right of course!
  12. Yes, I'm running 18x8.5J (35mm offset) and 18x9.5J (41mm offset) Wheels with 245/40 and 275/35 tyres and they fit fine. Pictures in my Gallery entry.
  13. Welcome to the Club! A visual inspection will confirm 1,4,5,6(possibly),7(the adjustable bit) and 10 (the radiator bit). A LSD and rear wheel steer (HICAS) is fitted from the factory. What is the service history? - In particular cambelt replacement.
  14. Oh God - not another year!
  15. Well done Steve on seeing this through. Time now to enjoy the car and the buzz it will give you driving her!
  16. Quite a common problem - the plastic fracturing from stress fatigue and/or overtightening the clamp. Replacement required.
  17. Looks to be a UK spec car.
  18. Well after many years of trying to get one, I finally laid my hands on a genuine vintage Nissan dealership sign. To say I'm chuffed to bits is an understatement! The 20+ year old sign measures 120cm by 85cm and will take pride of place on the garage wall above the car. It will look amazing! Here is a somewhat larger one of the same design used at the US launch in Chicago back in 1989. That one was backlight and I will do the same.
  19. Congratulations on your purchase and look forward to reading about your progress with restoring the car to its former glory.
