Don't know anyone with a 36v drill (£'s!!!), i've got a 24v bosch sds, had it from 1998, one 3ah battery, use it every day (window fitter), only now is it starting to play up, won't charge properly, if at all. Definately a good buy & has earnt me a lot of money! On the flipside of that, i've also got a bosch 24v combi drill, complete rubbish! The gearbox fell apart after about 18mths. All the rest of my kit is DeWalt, never had any problems with DeWalt, my next 24v sds will be a DeWalt too. ;) The 36v batteries, aren't they the lithuim-ion ones? They're supposed to be the mutts!

To cut a very very long story short, a mate of mine dusted off to cornwall about 5yrs ago, (when his daughter whom he'd never seen/spoke to), started going out in the local town, anyways, circa 5 yrs later, she starts working behind the bar in what was his local (my local), as village gossip would have it, people soon realised who she was (freds daughter!), anyways, to cut to the chase, his folks/sisters& brothers always come out on new years eve (you're guessing where this is going now aren't you!), yep, she was behind the bar! (his entire family had never seen her either!). Got chatting to one of freds sister's 'who's the bird behind the bar staring at me' she says, 'been staring at me all night', 'i'm gonna go and punch her lights out in a minute', after about 20 mins of this from the entire family, i take freds mum & one of his sisters outside, and drop the bombshell!! As far as i'm concerned, it's about time they knew, tbh, they wern't too surprised, almost as if they kinda knew anyway, just needed someone 'local' to confirm it for them. I went home after that.... :)

IIRC, there is a difference in the two, had a 'mines' fitted to my auto & can remember having to wait for an auto one to be sourced. But i stand to be corrected! :p

Hope it all goes well for you mate, i've met you & 'silver streak' at billing before, nice bloke, nice car as they say. On a similar note, a mate of mine had a similar problem with a 'reputable' vw tuner, booked in for an engine swap, quoted 6 weeks, 7 months later still had no car! He actually drove up to wigan to see the car and was told he couldn't see it because it was at the bosses house. Turned out they'd smashed it up and were trying to repair/bodge it back together. He'd just spent £3.5k on a paint job for it too! They ended up settling out of court in the end.

If you never went to a gig, you've never lived! Have seen them a few times, just one big drunken St Trinians style food fight, flour, eggs, feathers, treacle etc... saw them at Reading university, my mate lost his virginity on stage to one of their roadies (female!), she then proceeded to give the singer a bj halfway through a song! Was one of those nights i'll never forget for as long as i live, they used to have snakebite drinking contests through a funnel & haircuts on stage for 20p. Funnily enough, they were banned from reading university after that. Even made front page of the sun, it's my mates claim to fame & he still gets the p*ss took out of him now, nearly 20 yrs later! :rofl:

Bought the kaiserchiefs 'employment' lp. was the most dissapointing lp i ever bought, liked the sound of what i'd heard in the charts etc, the rest was just total rubbish! As for the uk subs.... now your talking! :hyper: :D Got the 12" of 'hey santa' somewhere. :nana2: :p

Do you use it for buisness, or just social use? If it's just social use, they will hike the premium up loads. I had a van for racing years ago, cost me around £700 to insure it. I'm now self employed and use a van every day for work, it's around £250 f/c inc my mate to drive too!

Watched 'The Beyond' a while back, thats worth a watch, quite an old film, was originally banned over here. All time fave horror film has to be 'house of 1000 corpses', for it's sheer sadism and madness.

Looks a nice one Nick, yeah a little over priced though, but worth it if it's a good'un. I see they have zero feedback, i wouldn't think they'd knowingly sell you a lemon as their first ebay transaction though.

Why don't they give the job to Alan Hansen, he spends 20mins after every game criticizing the manager & players, lets see if he can do any better with the bunch of misfits we call a football team.
