  1. Sorry to hear your news bud, when it all goes t*ts up for her again, and she starts dangling the carrot in your direction... tell her to f*ck off.
  2. I saw most of it, seems he was as crooked as they come. :( His wife was fit though..lol :) The mechanic i use had one in his workshop for a while, they are weird to say the least, the interior is straight out of an old montego, or is it the other way round?
  3. Not too sure mate, but a friend of mine once tried to register a wr426 enduro bike, was a uk model etc.. He eventually gave up and bought one already registered from new. Apparantly it is getting harder and harder to register off road bikes for road use. Your best bet would be to speak to your local bike shop, or maybe contact the dvla.
  4. An original one of these would be nice..... Saw some at the castle coombe rally day, they're tiny!!
  5. Got a feeling our lock's not gonna fit that mate, ours are a lot 'chunkier' than that one, plus you'd probably have to modify the doors to accept it too, and as they look like woodgrain ones, they will have lots of metal inside them, i'll swag one from the factory tomorrow anyway and take some pics with some dimensions. Has the lock got a manufacturer's name on it, could try googling it, they may do replacements, can b&q help at all?
  6. lol, i can get u a lock for nowt, can just pinch one from the factory :x: Probably have to be both sides as the cams may not line up properley. Wherabouts are you?
  7. I'm a window fitter. You just need to replace the barrell, if you've drilled it, can you get a screwdriver in there & turn it to operate it? If so, turn it slightly off-centre, the barrell will then slide out once you've undone the retaining screw, which runs from the edge of the door into the lock barrell. If you still can't get the barrell to work after drilling it, remove the handles and attach a pair of molegrips to the 20mm or so thats sticking out of the door, and snap the barrell (very easy, they are very weak where the screw holds them in), then remove the barrell. If you've got any pics, put 'em up.
  8. Used to have a manta gte too, in baryt brown metallic, sounds naff, but looked awesome. Was the hatchback version, really wanted the coupe, just couldn't find one, rare as rocking horse sh*t. Manta's were the mutts nutts in their day, top rally cars.
  9. Congrats mate, i've recently become a grandpa....at 38!! :headvswal :)
  10. feel for ya mate, i've been there and it's shite to say the least! Completely out of your hands, nothing you can do, it's a horrible feeling. Just make sure your kids grow up knowing why they're parents aren't together, and who's decision it was for you to split, being a female, she'll turn it all around and blame it on you. The reason my ex gave in the courts was that 'he went to work every day!!' Oh, and the fact i'm 3 mths pregnant with someone else's kid, who incidently was in prison. TBH, i had a lucky escape, it was a blessing in disguise, she (ex) is well fooked up now, just been had for screaming rape, got a 12mth susp sentance. If i was still with her, i'd have nothing, no car, no bikes, no money etc, just a big debt. Our 17yr old daughter is on my side of the fence, she made her own mind up regarding her mum a long time ago. Life does move on, and it will be for the better, i've got another daughter now (4yrs), new woman, a much better life etc etc... Just hang on in there mate, and for gods sake.... Just don't do anything stupid! Not over a woman, they ain't worth it.
  11. Congratulations to you & your mrs, well done.. :duffer:
  12. I know exactly what you mean, it's money well spent, the smoother you are, the faster you will go, etc etc... I ride off road, mx-enduro etc, and the suspension is so important, rebound, damping, sag etc.
  13. Welcome buddy, i've got an mr2 turbo, cracking little car! Yep, that z sure looks familiar....
  14. Used to have an n/a manual supra, very good cars. You gotta work them a bit though, 3rd gear just never ended! Surprisingly economical too.
  15. Only been on one quad, that was enough! Just couldn't get the hang of it, prefer two wheels. A mate used to have a road legal banshee (rd350 engine), that was awesome, i'd have one of them, just for the noise!
  16. I phoned him during the week & left a message for him to ring me (not z related), he's not got back to me yet either, which is unusual as he normally rings me back. If he gets back to me, i'll gee him up about yours mate.
  17. Yep, your're mad! ;) Good luck btw.
  18. lol, yep been riding a bit, mainly 3hr enduro's. Mx is a bit frantic for me now, being self employed and all that! getting well into the mountain bikes now, a bit easier than loading up a van with bikes etc (you know what i mean ;) ). Theres a 'fast eddy' round near me next w'end, may try for a day licence for that one. Did you get to the des nations last year? Stefan Everts is god! Heres a recent pic, got loads more too! Note the 'Z' on the back pocket of my jeans!
  19. Hello mate, long time no see, you still riding? ;)
  20. Try listening to the 'murder dolls' along the same lines as slipknot, one of the slipknot members has something to do with them i believe. 'motherfu*cker i don't care' is a quality track! :D
  21. Can only echo previous comments mate, glad you got out of it alive. At the end of the day, it's just a car, it can be replaced if necessary. If i were in your shoes, i'd be off down the volvo dearlership... ;)
  22. Spot on royal, your never too old to enjoy yourself! Don't think my knees could stand that some how! Love watching the bmx'ers on the vert, that is awesome. I'm 38 and i still pull wheelies on my mountain bike, and do 'broadies', so your not alone! :p Cool soundtrack too. ;)
  23. Yep, supra's are very tuneable, as kirbz says 500bhp is reasonably easy to obtain, i've also been told the autoboxes are good for 500+bhp.
  24. Spotted a black k plate z parked outside sturdeys castle restaurant/hotel, nr kidlington on wednesday 11th. Anyone from here?
