I've got a cr250 2stroke, always had mx'ers (proper bikes :D ), Don't race mx anymore, just do the 3hr enduros now, mx is a bit frantic for me at my age! :D One of my mates used to have an air cooled cr 480, that was a beast!! Was like a shirt on a washing line on a windy day! :rofl:

Became a grandpa today, at the tender age of 38 :D My daughter is only 17, and to say i was 'upset' when she told me she was pregnant is an understatement, anyone who knows me will tell you the same. But.... Armani was born today @ 4.27pm, weighing 7lb 12oz, mother and daughter doing fine. Went to visit them in hospital earlier, the little tiddler just melted into my arms, a little gem! Anyway, no jokes about: werthers original/tartan blankets/recliners/slippers/ pipes or flat caps please, had enough of them in the pub tonight! :duffer: Here she is, approx 2 hrs old..

Had my kona hardtail for 8yrs now, finally took the plunge and forked out for a f/s xc bike, anyone 'in the know' will know what a seriously cool piece of kit this is, bumps...what bumps, absolutely awesome to ride, climbs like a mountain goat on steriods, dh's like it's on rails, 200mm disc on the front! Not been over the bars yet, but i think it's imminent!

Superb, takes me right back, what saturday mornings were all about.

Not my cup of tea either, need higher mudguards & knobbly tyres, lol The skeleton bike is awesome though... :bow:

'Fnar Fnar!' One of those extendable magnet thingy's or some long nose pliers usually does the trick.

They've had that for nearly a year now, seems strange that it hasn't sold yet, as you say, it's a good price. It has had a new front bumper fitted at some point, as it has a tt front on it, maybe it's been in an accident? :confused:

Yours looks a nice & clean example mate, i don't doubt it's worth the money, but selling a z for around the £5k mark these days is a hard thing to do. There are so many 'cheap' ones about for £2500 or so, that getting £5k for one is almost an impossibility! It all depends how desperate you are to sell it, eventually someone will come along and buy it for the price you want, just depends if you can wait that long! These cars were £30k+ to buy new, so they should be worth a lot more than they are selling for now, but in reality, they are a specialist car that drinks fuel with huge running costs. It takes someone who really wants one to buy one, then they are gonna buy the £2500 'bargains' on ebay, then realise they've bought a 'shed' then punt it out for the cost of a half decent mountainbike, hence lowering the value & reputation of these cars even more! Rant over! Good luck with the sale btw! ;)

As the saying goes.. 'you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family.' You've done the right thing mike, above & beyond the call of duty imo. It seems this guy will just continue taking the piss out of your sister again, only this time she'll have a baby to contend with too, so inevitably... it will be her that loses out, not you. Not unless you're willing to bail her out of the shit again! Just keep your distance from them, she'll be in touch when she needs something, then the balls in your court. ;)
