Congrats on a fine purchase mate, used to have a supra myself. They are a very good car well built, legendary toyota reliability etc etc. Oh yeah, and loads better than a gto!! I heard the other day that my old supra has been written off, apparantly the guy lost it on a roundabout & wiped the back end off it! R.I.P Supra.. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Boot polish is an inexpensive way of 'blackening' up the trims. Once you've got them how you want them, mask them off next time you polish the car, takes a few minutes but saves a lot of hassle trying to remove the polish from them afterwards.

Yeah, what vinz said. Just don't leave it too long between washes, it will eventually fook your paint if left. Use a good quality polish too, maybe some carnauba wax.

IIRC, that was the one he bought, which once belonged to tony c. Swapped the interior for the old cream leathers from the blue one he owned before. Didn't have it long did he.

A mate of mine has just bought some from ebay, £90 delivered. Fitted them to his golf gti, hell of a difference! UK seller too.

Yep.... Don't buy one, they're terrible. I had a v6 sri, cost £500 to keep it on the road, through electrical problems, in 2 months. It just went from one breakdown to the next. Had an astra 1.6 for 3yrs, didn't miss a beat, excellent little car.

I had a vectra once, it had traffic master. Don't think theres a screen involved, it just gives you alerts as to where traffic jams etc are. You have to subscribe to it, hence mine never got used!

Spotted sunday evening, heading north on a34. Think it was silver..(was dark!)

Spotted 2 z's on the iow over the weekend. 1st was a luvverley pearl yellow in sandown on friday afternoon. 2nd was a two tone silver/blue at blackgang chine on saturday afternoon.
