A friend of mine had a terzo, bottom end went @ 85k miles! Cost him close on £3.5k to sort it out (apparantly!). They are very quick & sound lovely, but they really are the modern day xr3i, everyone has one! Why not go for a pulsar, or a celica gt4? Both better looking and rarer than a scoob.

One of my mates is a golf freak, had quite a few of them. This one started off as a mk3 1.4cl... Had an audi tt lump fitted & other numerous bits & bobs, flip paint etc... about £14k thrown at it in the end!! He also had a mk2 vr6 conversion, in jazz blue, which won numerous show & shines etc... Couple of mates of mine are in a band, 60's surf punk kinda stuff, recently split the band up & are now looking for a new name to go with. The Arousers To give you an idea of the kind of music they play, they do an excellent version of the guitar riff from pulp fiction, surfin' bird by the trashmen, wipeout.... the normal surf stuff. Anybody have any ideas?

Fookin' hell, thats a bad one! Glad your're all ok though, thats the main thing. What a bummer with the tpft insurance, not much salvageable on there either! :( On the flip side, the price z's are fetching nowadays, you should be able to save up & get another in no time!

I've recently got some 'mothers' polish, find it very good. Usually use meguirs or autoglym, can't really go wrong with either imo. Your paintwork looks nice btw, meguirs detailing spray would be ideal for you, to keep it looking tip-top in between polish's.

Also, once you've got the paintwork how you want it, apply a 'gloss guard' after the final polish, you'll be amazed!

I've got one, use it for valeting. Not a porter cable, but same sort of thing, it's just a brand name. Occasionally use it for final polish, mainly for cutting paint back really. You'll find using it for a final polish will rip the heads to bits very quickly! They're very soft and catch on almost anything. Scewfix do a good selection of them & the heads & chemicals too.
