  1. IIRC, an electronic controller will override the safety boost feature, hence no safety boost if needed. With jets you obviously still have the safety boost feature. Plus...As Royal said.....get a boost gauge......now!
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D4621545184%26fvi%3D1&rd=1&item=4621545184 Looks quite reasonable, 'till you see the side view!
  3. Have seen a vw caravelle with a tt lump in @ santa pod. Ran a circa 18sec run!
  4. Sell the r5, & get a r21 turbo.(thats if u can find one!) You'll get more for the r5 than the r21 will cost! They'll be cheaper on insurance as they're classed as 'family saloons', having 4 doors and all. And a whole lot quicker too.
  5. The corvette rear looks nice.. imo. It's just the front that looks awful, shame really, it would be a nice z with a stock front.
  6. iirc, audrey will need to be wired in 'normally', dont think the japs used an iso block tbh. Audrey will also need an adapter for the aerial plug, approx £10 - £14, any good motor factor should stock one of these.
  7. Ooooh, get you!.... :)
  8. Does she like the mr2 tubby? If so, just buy a swb z. Hopefully she won't notice the difference!

Pearl yellow (eh7) was only available in 90/91, so anything newer than a h-reg has been resprayed. Have seen a few k-plates advertised as pearl yellow? It is (IMO) the best colour for a z, really shows the lines to maximum effect. I had one, but sold it to 'wheelman' from this forum. Heres a pic...
  10. Go for it mate, nothing wrong with a 'vette. Nice cars. A mate of mine has just bought a plymouth barracuda...
  11. Nope, the hicas is 4ws, although very slight, you will hardly notice it at all. the series one z had the hicas running from the pas pump, the series 2 had it running electronically. It is quite common to replace the hicas with a solid rear axle. HTH...Simon
  12. As above guys, usual place: Comet car park nr madjeski stadium.
  13. RLTC mate... *Edit* Doh, beaten to it by paul c
  14. lol, what a state to get yer car in, eh!
  15. As above, rotor arm, dizzy cap, leads, plugs etc... I've got a forge bov on mine, seems fine.
  16. I s'pose mummy & daddy are paying to have it sprayed too?
  17. lol, thats enough thread hijacking for one night! What was the thread again? something about cars i think, nah..... it'll never catch on! ;)
  18. Heres a few more... No 86 in this one, just lapping 'em up!
  19. Have a good one mate :duffer:
  20. lol, couldn't ride a 125 for toffee dude, too used to a 250. Always in the wrong gear coming into corners etc... You know what i mean! ;)
  21. lol, that was quick! Was actually a 99 suzuki rm250. Photo taken circa summer '01. Originally swapped it for a 99 yz 125, just couldn't get the hang of riding a 125! Later found out that the suzuki previously belonged to Matt Bates (planit promotions) a former british championship runner, needless to say it was 'slightly' tuned!' I was like a 'shirt on a washing line on a windy day', every time i opened it up! :D
