Got my z from him, owned it for 2 yrs, had no probs with it. His stock can be pricey, but it's good quality.

Caught a glimpse of him @ the rally day @ castle coombe earlier this year, looked really ill then. He will be sadly missed, a natural talent & a great british champion. Sadly he won't get any of the recognition he deserves, as his death will be overshadowed by george best's death.

Limited to 155mph, delimited circa 175-180 mph. 0-60 approx 5.5 secs 500 bhp from a z will cost a few quid mate! It will whup a gts-t skyline. A pulsar, mr2t etc will be more nimble than the z. The z doesn't really come into it's own till you start doing stupid speeds (130+).

Had a go on a cr500 once, had to put my arms back into my sockets afterwards! Was like a shirt on a washing line on a windy day! Hat off to Dave Thorpe, 3 times world 500cc mx champ. Have also ridden a yamaha banshee quad, thats a bit of a handful, rd350 engine.
