What First
Fit an aftermarket water temp gauge, as the standard ones are notoriously shite, maybe some ''water wetter'' in with the water/antifreeze mix. And yes you're right....heat is probably the biggest prob with a z (IMO).

How old is it
Isn't it on the rear light cluster panel inside the boot aswell?

servicing in the SW
It's worth the trip to ztech mate, however if it's just an oil service, can't you do it yourself? Plugs, filters, oil...about 2hrs work. I always used magnatec in mine, may have opened a can of worms with that, but each to their own! ;)

N/A dials
Loads of options mate, as Vinz says...indiglo look cool, also go for an a-pillar gauge mount with indiglo dials too, for even more bling effect! Have a look on http://www.zcentre.co.uk :)

Maybe Neil & Indian zx could have their own help & advice forum :) Not to sure whether they'd be asking or answering the questions though!

Whats going to win? you vote
The bike may initially pull ahead, maybe to 50mph or so, then the z will pass it, not sure what bhp mac's is running  then it's down to whoever backs out first! I know this ain't a z, but have a look at this... http://www.badassride.com/videos/supra_hayabusa.wmv

Supras - why do people want them?
LOL, just been told about this thread, so i'll have my 10p's worth! Some of you may know, i have a supra n/a now & tbh it's a good car, hasn't missed a beat in the 5mths i've owned it. To me it was the logical 'next car' to get, don't want a gto, so i opted for a supra, i went for the n/a as it has a bulletproof reputation, and is an ideal nitrous candidate if i ever need any more power! Obviously it lacks the performance of my old TT Z, but it is not slow by any means, you just have to work it a bit harder. Some people don't like the look of 'em, & i must admit in standard form (wheels etc) they do look a little bland, whereas the z looks the mutts nutts in standard trim, just a nice set of splitties maybe, but a kitted supra looks better than a kitted Z (IMO). I've been in a few tt supras & the performance is amazing to say the least, but sadly so is the fuel economy! It seems big bhp upgrades are easier to get with a supra, due to the straight 6 configuration (obviously!), single turbo conversions are very common & readily available. Mine had Tein susp when i got it, so cant really compare the handling to my old Z, it's like a go-kart to say the least, just a bit rattly! I had my Z for 2yrs or so & loved every minute of it, no serious probs really. Time will tell if i keep the supra for that long...... :D Anyway thats my 10p's worth, i'm just off to get my coat!

Off we go to re-trim
Yeah, goin fine mate, you too? Can't the rims be 'sealed' at all? The guy i bought the car from had those rear tyres fitted, i never had any probs with air loss. I'd have a ask around before buying new rims though, they're gorgeous rims, really suit the car. But if your gonna go for new rims, how about some of these... Racing Hart cr's, lovely! Available from Luke @ zcentre, bit pricey though!

Integra DC5 - what do you think?
