Yet another, what appears to be, nice example, if not a touch over priced zed.

Its not too far from me so may go and have a look, but has anyone heard of this company, or recognise the car

Cheers again

Looks a nice one Nick, yeah a little over priced though, but worth it

if it's a good'un.

I see they have zero feedback, i wouldn't think they'd knowingly

sell you a lemon as their first ebay transaction though.

Well its not overpriced, its what they should be worth. Its stunning, looks fantastc mate. Lovly seats, i just wish mine was pretty, or worth at least half that :(

Sucks when they arent worth anything :(

Like ive said before, i know they SHOULD be worth more than that, but it doesnt change the reality that thats what theyre going for, and forbid that someone crashes into it or it get nicked the insurance company are not going pay out the price its listed as, only as what the market value of the zed is.

unless you have an agreed value. Which they should payout, so you could insure it for £10k or so, although this would of course be more expensive to buy the insurance in the first place.

looks like veilside kitted - did nissan do a version s in 1995?

Regards,.

Ive had experiences with agreed values before. My missus used t ohave an original mini cooper s which had an agreed value of £5K, but when it got nicked they only offered to pay out £1k to start with, we eventually had to take them to court, but we still only managed to get £4k out of them. I dont trust insurance companies at all!!!!!especially when it comes to agreed values

its a version s? recaro seats etc

I dont know mate, i think someone with a bit more experience with jap model types will have to answer that.

Come on Duff where are you when i need you!!!!! :p :hyper: :D

LOL Version S was available in 95. Whether its a true version S who knows

It doesnt actually say. For that price i gotta assume its a TT

Is it TT or N/A?-can't seem to find any info............

Probably an NA. No mention of turbos. :nono:

Easy to find out... check the code suffix.

On the 2+2 shell the version S is Z32JT non turbo and Z32JSHT turbo

Non version S cars dont have the T on the end.

The version S Recaro had the same codes as did the

Version R when it was introduced in 1997. :D

Sorry mate, im being a bit dim. Where would i find the suffix code?? i used to know where to find all the codes on the zed, but ive had a complete mental block!

Cheers mate

Ive been scouring the net to find out what the difference is between the standard and the version S apart from the Recaro seats???

I tried searching on here, but there is no way im spending the next hundred hours looking through 500 hits!!!

On the VIN plate or stamped on the Scuttle/Bulkhead.

cheers mate, I dont remember seeing a model code on the VIN plate, like i said, its been a while since ive had a look at the VIN plate of a zed! :slap:

So i take it there are no performance upgrades, only some optional extra being made standard and changing from ali calipers to Iron calipers???

as far as i am aware that is correct... if anything, you lose more than you gain in the later models... especially with the interior, they scrimped quite a bit to make up for costs from the emmisions control extras they had to pay for etc!

look at the thread in General Discussion on my newly acquired 95 Version S Slicktop.

At the risk of repeating myself...

The Version S was a very minor revision.. deeper sports type seats and different rear spoiler basically. As far as I can tell.

The Version S Recaro had the Recaros added and the BBS wheels. This was then succeeded in 1997 by the similarly named and spec'd Version R 2 bye 2.

Its not for me to decide what is overpriced and what the "correct" price of 300s but I can disclose here that I paid £2000 (+ £100 road fund licence) for my 1995 version S Slicktop. :nana2:

Well that IS a good idea. Its only by physically looking at a range of cars that you gain the experience to spot a bargain when you see one ;)

I think everyone on the forum is fed up with looking at pics of my new mota.... but one more wont hurt
