  1. That looks like an awesome buy there Lee. Is this for yourself or for proffit?
  2. Right guys I have just got insurance from A Plan insurance for Spare Parts one of my Red SWB's. Really sound Guy call Simon Dix. Bare in mind that I had a Altercation with a Tree last year in My other Red SWB "little Red". Fully comp, insured NCB, Full European Cover, W60, Mods declare (granted very minimal), valuation on sound system, free legal cover, only £300 excess and a SP 30. All for £465. Would have been cheeper had i not had a fight with a tree last year so very please. Cheepest Quote from any of the above was Admiral £839.45. Richard thanks mate but Lynbrooks don't touch imports. Adrian Flux who I am with wanted £1185:shock: and these are the recomended club insurer. So Simon at A Plan says if any of you are looking for a change to Call him on 08450711234 and if you take insurance with him he'll offer discount to club members and Free legal cover. Give him a bell
  3. Who are you with and are these trader policy's
  4. Just Had my renewal quote from Adrian Flux. It is 4 times what it was last year due to my altercation with a tree. It is also £300 more than the renewal quote for my Blue Zed "Now saddly Keano's" and that had every modification listed.
  5. Right still no joyful. Checked all the ancilaries on the pullies and all seem OK and in line. Done a compresion test and all even across and virtually as new figures. Though it is running a litle rich. Wondering if timing has slipped and or if the MAF could cause it. Going to stick my new MAF on it and see if it makes a difference. Anyone near Astley Manchester with a Conzult that Phil (EX C & S Wood) at Blackmoore Motor could borrow to plug in and give her the once over as the blink Code is showing 55.
  6. Buy a cover for the Zed and get a push bike
  7. Nope I haven't. Good thinking though I'll see to it and let you know.
  8. Yes in fact most noticable when stationary.
  9. I have :eek::rofl::rofl::rofl:
  10. Unfortunatly I think you'd be wrong there, but I do have some grubby shirt collars and cuffs:slap::rofl:
  11. Well the offers there if you need it.
  12. Fooooooooooooooooooook in nell. Glad your ok buddy. have you stopped shaking yet. The things people do to get a day off work :rofl: Seriously though you were very lucky and it good that your ok. the car can be replaced.
  13. Well I have a big house and a double garage and room for 2 more Zeds on the drive. Having got rid of 2 so maybe a Zed dating agency needed :rofl: Photos :D:slap: What do you look like and are you any good at washing and ironing:slap::rofl: I cook and dont like my kitchen messing up. It does get better matey. If you just want to store it out the way while you get sorted no problem mate I have plenty of room.
  14. No scrapes or marks on the sump at all.
  15. Nope not the gearbox mount either? anyone any ideas
  16. Ah I remember it well. A bloody good holiday that and even though the fuel cost a bout £1000 and we all needed new brakes and tyres afterwards it was still a total hoot. When we doing it again Mike
  17. Ha I check engine mount will check Gearbox mount sound like it could be the monkey
  18. NA which I bounced over a curb about a month ago. Ever since the engine has had a vibration worst at about 2000 RPM. running on 6 pots and nothing seems to have come loose and engine revs very freely. any thoughts what it could be.
  19. My ex always had Beemers, 5's and 7's. Don't get me wrong I think BMW's are really good cars. The people that by them new though are generally that far up there own arse you can only see their feet.
  20. Hey Viniboy you have just proved my observation that the 350z is owned by the same type of person who drive 3 series BMW's.:rofl::rofl: I personally think clothes lables should be inside the garment and not on the pockect out side. Bring back flogging
  21. I have to disagree with you there because when i got my first Z32 you were still paying around £16K for a tidy one and with inflation that would mean round about £22k to £24k by todays money. Yet people where sound. + I joined the Zed club and rubbed shoulders with all the 240 boys like Mike Feeney and Luke Borg etc. Also at £36k New the z32 was aimed at the Porsche 911 driver and would have been more like £60k in todays money. It was aimed at performance car enthusiasts. The 350Z is aimed more at what used to be the Capri/ Opel Manta brigade which are people more interested in image than performance and their in lies the problem. Snotty trendies who think they are big fish in their little pond and not actual performance car enthusiasts. The same people that buy 350z's buy high street designer lables and think that a lable shows they are better than those who don't. Bit like 3 series BMW drivers. The other thing to remeber was that the 300zx was limited to 1500 UK units which also made it exclusive. It's only plumitted in price since we have been deluged with Jap imports.
