  1. Well I'll ask the question on TT net and see what our friends across the duck pond have to say. I have to decide wether to build a better NA lump or just drop one of my TT engines in. All will need rebores and I like the idea of a 300 bhp NA. but if its to much hasle I just have a TT lump dropped in.
  2. I'd go for 10w 40 if its a stanard ish TT or 10w 50 if you like to get frisky at the weekends and seriously beet her up. As for Tyres You cannot fit better tyres than the Bridgestone SO2's. They are now down as a Porsche only fitment but if you shope around you'll get them. Tweeks stock them. The 300zx was design on these tyres and when you put them on your car you can tell. Nothing is better in the rain for the Zed and they last longer than Mitchelin Pilots which I do like though not so much in the rain.
  3. Cheers Eric. So could you use NA pistons work in a TT engine to transform it into a NA with tunning porential or would the Valves from the TT heads fowl the pistons.

You haven't changed much Chris. To be honest anyone who's met you should have got that one. Not your fault they could never do much for you at the burns unit :rofl::rofl: you know I'm only joking.
  5. As above. I have been told that the main differences on the NA and the TT was, the TT sump has the cooler feeds and regulator. Then the NA has different piston oil squirters and the heads have a much smaller combustion chamber. Anyone know for sure what the differences really are. Iknow for sure about the oil squirters
  6. Buy a SWB to start with and you have saved 70Kg stait away. + the have no back seats. Then the seats weigh 49KG so swapping them for a pair of bucket seats could save as much as 37kg and thats before you start on al the rubbish like AVI, plunum heaters system, Hicas. Then Z1 do fiberglass tail gates with pexi glass, FG doors, wings and bonnets. I'm sure read that you can loose about 300kg.

  8. Elise is a track day car and a real pain in the back if used on the road everyday. Z3 is not a good car really. The S2000 just ticks all the boxes.
  9. Happy Birthday Vinz. not long now before you get that telegram from the Queen.:rofl::rofl:

  11. Ian has Noltech engine mounts same as I had on my blue car. From all I have learn't I would say new standard mountsa are good for serious HP, but old knackered ones arn't. On TT net they were saying you can get the engine mounts for a ford pickup truck which are exactly the same as the Nissan mounts but half the price.
  12. ;):D:cool: How does she know me though. Which blonde is this You must tell me more Wendy oh yes wheel at refurbers being fixed and track rod end bent, but new rack going on next week anyway so will all be sorted very soon. xx
  13. Actually doing this has been the best reminder that i shouldn't let the crazy, f**, f*****g psycotic s***, who lives in some strange world were destroying out of pure spite everything that provides an income for her and our children, running up such large legal bills that everything will have to be sold to cover it is going to some how mean shes won? and won what exactly? AND WHEN YOU READ THIS AS I KNOW YOU WILL, YOU PARANOID LOON. GET WITH THE PROGRAM! I DON'T LIKE YOU ANYMORE AND I DON'T WANT YOU. GET YOURSELF A LIFE FFS AND LEAVES SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS TO HAVE ONE TOO. P.S. I'M HAVING LOTS OF FUN WITH GIRLFRIENDS
  14. Yes to add to my woes I went and bent one of my rims and proberbly the trackrod to boot. Having had a serious run in with the mad Ex I was tacking it out on my little SWB NA. I was drifting through a section of bends not far from where i live. Left, Right, left and the final right hander as you come onto the straight. Did the usual let wheel feed it self through my hands to straighten up for the straight. Must have let too much gas off and over steered. Couldn't catch it before coming to contact with the curb with a thud. Worst of all this old guy was watering his garden. He'd obviously heard me screaching through the bends and watch my disaterous last manover. He just looked and shook his head and went back to watering. Feel a total cock for behaving like an ass and coming unstuck.:headvswal:headvswal several hundred pounds I could have spent better.
  15. It has to have been me of corse and after tomorrow its new owner and after tomorrow she's gone.
  16. No thats a wet MAF give 2500. Once they start to go faulty they start to limit the revs to about 5000 RPM and then progressively get worse. Or at least thats what happend to mine.
  17. Chris the question is would they get it or not and it you say no then I'm not standing next to you again :rofl::rofl: You can go sit on Chris C's knee:rofl::rofl:
  18. Mine would say "Don't read this watch that car!!"

Monkfish Works really well with salmon and peppers on the old scewers and bar bee'd. I'm going home now to have seared large Scarborough scallops with guacamolli, salad, crispy smoked bacon chopped and spinkled over the top and a pesto and garlic olive oil dressing. Yum

Cheeky git With most of the fishing ports being in the North we've had fish up here you southerners have never seen + Scarborough is the UK capital of the Scallop. Which I must add is my favourite of all sea food. Thought it is a crustation and not a fish. It's only some Northerners that are finding the delights of sea food now.:rofl:

Monkfish, Huss and Gilthead (Rock Salmon) are my favourite fish after crustations. They all have good flavour and texture but don't over cook em. If you enjoyed the Monkfish andy then try the other 2 above. How did you cook it. I usually caramelise some onion and garlic in a good drop of olive oil. Then remove from oil onto a side plate. Next fry about half a tea spoon of fennal seeds in the same oil and again remove to the side plate the onions and garlic is on. Then cube the monkfish and fry in the oil for about a minute a side. Then throw in a chopped chilli and the onions, garlic and fennel seeds. Add a knob of butter and tot of brandy and flambay. Then add half a cup of single cream and stir till hot then serve. I have three othe favourite recipes for monk fish and a good few for Huss, gilthead, cod or any fish. I'm a real big fish fan. Most are much simpler than above but Monkfish lends itself well to the French OTT style. I eat fish most days and prefer it to meat.
