  1. 1 bar =14.503773800721815 psi according to one of the many online converters. All you have to do is type in the number you want and press "convert" or "calculate"....
  2. I for one have had a brilliant TOTB experience 3 years running. Mainly thanks to you sorting things out for me at the 11th hour. Appreciated :) Expect the same next year, my planning skills are legendary. In a bad way :shifty: Cheers, Noel.
  3. Is there room for a shonky but quick Zed? I need to map it so if I can somehow get to the meeting place at 9am, it'd be nice to make it to a show/meet for once. 50/50 at the moment though, still halfway up the M5 after visiting PowerZed.
  4. I posted the compressor map of a stock turbo on here, pretty sure the part number is on the diagram.
  5. Go for NGK BKR7E if you're running anything other than stock boost. The OEM coils are good for massive power (700hp @ wheels and counting). Upgraded coils are a waste of time.
  6. This is going to be a bit special.
  7. Surplus to requirements, this is for both big ends & mains shells. Top quality Mahle Clevite bearings. £120 delivered.
  8. I don't think any track day organisers are expected to process refunds so close to the date, if at all. It was only 3 days before the event when issues became evident, so although unfortunate, it's not really possible to demand a refund as that's just not how it works. Same with concert tickets and the like, if you can't attend, you need to sell them on or unfortunately lose out. The options were there to compete in another vehicle or just spectate & enjoy the show :) Dave has always been incredibly helpful to me, 3 years running now. This year, he ensured personally that my support vehicle & pit boss were able to enter hours before I arrived. Top chap, given how busy he was.
  9. There was! They struggle getting the power down.
  10. Your AEM wideband should be fine for a rough idea, but ideally you need to take datalogs. I personally monitor the driver's side bank, as this typically runs a tiny bit leaner than the passenger side. Try both to begin with, then monitor the leanest side.
  11. PMSL! Surely that spade of yours is almost worn out by now?
  12. There are 2 ways to approach TOTB: 1. It's a bit of fun. 2. In it to win it. The Skyline boys appear to be taking approach #2. As long as there are less than 10 people wanting to, or able to, take part, then it doesn't actually matter. Once there are more people than actual spaces, we would need to start thinking about putting the best team forward. The fact other forums are taking notice of our machines is really good. Awareness & appreciation is on the up! I would suggest that those interested have at least a couple runs up the strip beforehand, even if just for shakedown purposes.
  13. Consistency! Haha, you really think I'm getting shirty about a thread with the word "CRUZ" in the title. The only "Cruz" I would be seen dead in is Penelope.
  14. What the Hell do you mean "legalise". If I want to charge for sex, I damn well will!
  15. I know I commented on the thread, hence why I'm caught up in this idiotic discussion. I found it an astoundingly stupid idea based around an astonishingly stupid event caught on camera. It has nothing to do with the majority of 300ZX owners that I have met (i.e. they wouldn't be seen dead at such an event). Please don't compare the people in that video to me, but speak for yourself by all means. For me that is a huge insult! I've not driven a 1.4 Fiesta into a crowd of people for a long, long time! Like I said, my opinion is as worthless & incorrect as yours.
  16. Because it's still a shite idea when there are viable alternatives ALREADY AVAILABLE. And as before, it doesn't affect me in the slightest. Truth be told, I couldn't care less, so please stop bringing my name into it, there are plenty of other posts bemoaning the idea. IMO it's a crap thread about some twunt in a Fiesta slapping into a load of twunts. This is why I stick to the Tech section, my opinion is as worthless as everyone else's in here :wack:
  17. Apexi SAFC? Holding back in the mid range could be due to a number of things.
  18. Yeah, maybe I am being a tad unrealistic!
  19. I think I'm going to spend the next 360ish days preparing for TOTB 2015 just so I can get there on time.
  20. Ideally, you need to have AFRs monitored to find out exactly what is happening. Sounds like a boost leak as already suggested, chances are AFRs were dipping into the low 10s and causing a rich misfire in high gears due to the extra load the car doesn't experience in the lower gears.
  21. Nothing to win. You can't beat Darwinism :wack:
  22. Air exiting the dipstick tube is expected during a boost leak test.
  23. .....Or take away their licences and give them custodial sentences. That's just one other option. Thousands of people shoot up every weekend. Why not use the wasteland for Junky Time instead.
  24. That's like saying AIDS is better than Leprosy. No, for the Nth time I don't have to agree. Look at the bigger picture. It makes NO DIFFERENCE to me whatsoever that people at a 'cruz' are knocked over. They know the dangers. I've been to many back in the day out of boredom, seen it all. Nothing's changed by the looks of it. After the cruise comes the street-racing, so better it happened there than in the general public. I don't see the point in pandering to idiocy. I can't believe this is an actual topic on this forum.
