  1. Bought some Series 2 seats and a couple of T3 turbo manifold flanges.
  2. I have them in both nitrile N70 (£5 delivered) and Viton (£10 delivered).
  3. Doesn't have to be that way at all :) Paul123: They respond very well to tuning, and unlike the GTO & Supra, you don't need to go to a piggy-back (Emanage, SAFC etc) or full standalone ECU (Link, Syvecs etc) as the standard ECU is remappable and can work with any number of injectors, MAFs & turbo combinations. At least you didn't hear that they were only good for 350bhp before blowing up. That's one myth that seems to have been busted :)
  4. Nothing wrong with an FMIC set up :)

  6. I left my original Nistune ECU in a customer's car the other month which promptly went in for a load of work somewhere, but I've finally got it back, so my temporary one is up for sale. The realtime board is about 1 month old. £275 delivered :thumbup1:
  7. Received & Replied :) I was down Bristol tonight, visiting Jimmer @ Powerzed :thumbup1:
  8. Just to confirm: On the dyno (Leics) it didn't run lean on the driver's side. It had become leaner since the previous remap by about 0.5 AFR which would not have been sufficient enough to cause the detonation that occurred. It obviously wasn't possible to check the passenger side due to having to abort the session. But, if there was a side that was lean enough to cause your issues, I would have assumed it was the passenger side. To answer your question: Earlier MAFs had 5 pins, later revisions had 4 pins. Pin A (orange wire in the loom) is redundant. Both types of MAFs are interchangeable.
  9. Been known to socket a few ECUs myself, too
  10. Split dual intake & HKS filters with single relocated MAF, Legalis R exhaust, FMIC, approx 1.5 bar peak boost, Nismo FPR, 99 RON, mapping: 456bhp & 481lb·ft. It's not been on the dyno since going to one-off custom 2.5" pipework & custom FMIC. This made a huge amount of difference. Stock injectors, turbos, manifolds, turbo elbows, unopened 110k engine.
  11. Hello fellow Leicester dweller. Give me a shout if you need any help on the tuning side of things or diagnosing your issues.
  12. As of right now, maybe £1200 including maintenance over 2.5 years which includes acquiring the car in the first place. It's worth a great deal more though, as a lot of time & expertise has gone into it. Cheapest 12s car I've ever built by far.
  13. Just going back through our PMs earlier in the year. Was it running on stock injectors or did you fit the 600cc you mentioned along with a suitable chip?
  14. Off topic: What power did it make with the stock turbos in the end?
  15. I'll be there in the Zed same as last year, or in another Pulsar I'm working on. I've not driven the Zed for a while as it's laid up with a dying Auto 'box. Once that's done, I will be able to confirm which car I'll be taking. I was hoping to have some proper power this time around as the RWD class is much more open than the 4WD class, but time has been against me. I'm not overly keen on entering with exactly the same spec as last year, but I'll see how things go.
  16. A set of staggered 18" Team Dynamics Equinox alloys in silver & chrome with Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tyres for sale. Specs: Front: 18x8.5J et35 235/40/18 Rear: 18x9.5J et35 255/45/18 These are in almost perfect condition, came from an MR2 Ferrari replica that barely saw the road. Approx. 5mm on the tyres. You'd probably want to remove the Ferrari centre caps :D £400ono, can deliver.
  17. Unless you've got faulty turbos, they're telling you porkies or they simply haven't a clue. Stock turbos can take a lot of boost and make good power, but you need to maximise engine efficiency to make the most of them as far as top end power (i.e. BHP) is concerned. I've mapped a car to 500bhp on manual turbos, and my own car was at 456bhp with smaller auto turbos before the 2.5" FMIC pipework. Give Jimmer at PowerZed a call first & foremost :)

  19. Wish I had seen this first. Pintle caps go on the bottom of the injector. It's not pintle caps you're after... I do have the parts you need, however.

  21. I can sort you a remapped ECU, keep loads on the shelf. If still required, send me a PM with the full spec of your car.
  22. If you're serious about getting decent times up the strip, get some 16" wheels and road legal drag radials. I've had great success with Nitto 555r around the 15psi mark.
