  1. Great, thanks Andrew. This is for the engine bay, do you just use the same TK3 paint code but ask for none matalic or does the bay have a different paint code?
  2. Does anyone know where I can buy the TK3 blue paint from or is it likely that I’ll have to get it made up? Cheers, Chris.
  3. It’s the little things... Is the bonnet sensor OEM or is this part of the alarm? This wire had tape wrapped around it that was flacking. So after stripping the old tape to rewrap I found this. ? Another job to sort out.
  4. A few parts arrived today. Again nothing flashy but still important nonetheless. ?
  5. I have the Tokico Illumina 5-Way Adjustable Shock Absorbers on my car with the OEM springs (and 18” wheels). I’m told that this make it sit as standard. I’ve never felt that the car looks awkward but do intend to put OEM shocks back on with H&R lower springs at some point.
  6. The parts are good and it’s coming along but still a way to go. The main issue will be the paint around the area now where there rust got fixed. Unfortunately the repair was good but the paint job not so and they didn’t put a great seem around the repair. I’m sure I can tidy it up and the day the engine comes out it will go to the body shop for a respray.
  7. Christmas has come early for me today! I got a call from RalTech Finishers and Macro Developments to tell me that my 38 items had been powder coated and my outrageous amount of bits and bobs had been plated. I’ve taken a few pictures of some of the items before and after the work for your entertainment. Most of these parts will likely never been seen again other than by the eyes of Jim at PowerZed. Now I have the fun of putting it all back together again before I strip and send the next batch off. ?
  8. Haha. To be honest I’m not a fan of the over dressed ones, it looks like an elf has chucked up on it, but try stopping two boys from hanging decorations on a tree.
  9. I hope everyone is starting to get into the festive spirit? Today we put the trees up and I thought I’d share it with you guys. Wishing you all a happy Christmas from the Anderson family. ?
  10. Oh nice, this is one of the best posts on the forum. Let’s see what we’ve got and if there are any unknown owners and cars coming out to play. ?
  11. Hope you’ve had a great day Gary. ?
  12. Happy birthday Jeff. Hope you’ve brought your BMW some birthday treats?
  13. Thanks for your input Richard. Jim has also said that the cooler, for my driving needs, is unnecessary. However I thought it would be nice to see if the cooler is salvageable as I doubt they’ll be any evidence that this system was fitted to UK spec cars soon. After it’s been blasted and coated I’ll get it pressure tested before refitting it. Thanks for the link Andrew, I’ll read that later. ?
  14. Hope you’re having a great day! ??
  15. Great post, thanks for the update. What’s the plan to get that tricky piston out?
  16. They’re locked away for premium members only. The odd photo it regular forums might make people want to sign up to see more. ?
  17. Come on Lee, you know the rules. A statement like that alway needs at least one picture.?
  18. Just loom brackets, light fixings, battery tie, PS oil cooler and clamps, OC and HICAS base plates, bumper fixing etc... 38 pieces in all but will also want to do the more obvious stuff when I get to that area but want all the bits to match.
  19. I’ve a few bits and bobs getting powder coated and when I dropped them off the owner said that the OEM look would probably be semi gloss. Does this sound right to you guys or should it be full gloss? Cheers, Chris.
  20. I’m in but I calling the white ones. ?
  21. Same here as I’ve found a tiny bit of rust so will be getting the area resprayed too.
  22. Quick question, what did you use to remove the glue that was holding the foam one? I’ve tried a few things and nothing’s working one it.
  23. Thanks Simon. I literally just placed the order with CZP which included the OEM part along with several other OEM bits that soon add up to a frightening amount for such small insignificant things.
