  1. I haven’t tried that yet. Thanks.
  2. A further development is that when the dipped beam in on and I flash the full beam the dipped beam goes out.
  3. I’m booked in for an mot and whist doing my pre test inspection I noticed the near side main beam isn’t working. I’ve changed the lamp and checked the fuse but it’s still not working. I’m looking at the relays but the near side relay seems different to the offside so I’m reluctant to swamp them over to check it’s working. I’ve attached a picture of the fuse box for you guys to check everything looks as it should. Any ideas? Cheers, Chris.
  4. I agree, looks like a great colour. Very impressed with the finish to and has made me think that I might DIY refurb my winter storage wheels.
  5. Have you tried the paint protection film?
  6. This is part of my cleaning routine already. :blushing:
  7. If you can start it along side a PAYE you’ve nothing to lose other than your time. Be realistic when investing in tools (if necessary), by quality second hand as you can always move them on for the same price if it doesn’t work out (even second hand tools can go on the books). And I would recommend paying someone to do your end of year books, £400 and they’re done. A good accountant will save you that and some each year. You’ll have good days and you’ll have days thinking why did you do this BUT the rewards when you get it right are great. Good luck mate!
  8. Thanks guys. I didn’t think there were any but I wanted to be 100% sure. I can see why the boot rots out on a lot of daily 300s now.
  9. Is there a drainage hole in the boot hatch? I ask because after cleaning my car I alway have a pool of water gather on the bottom off side corner of the rear screen. I can literally spend hours drying up the gathered water only for it to repool seconds later. However if I open the hatch a good amount of water then run off the back making me think there’s a blocked brain hole. Is this a common issue? Cheers, Chris.
  10. My boys (Archie 3, Benjie 1) just aren’t coping with this heat. It wouldn’t be fair to bring them out in this weather nor let the wife have to deal with them just for a car show that I want to go to. Hope it all goes well for you all. If any of the A27 convoy group want to swing by mine (I’m in Langstone, just before Hayling Island) for a pit stop and ice cream, me and my boys would love to see your cars.
  11. I very much doubt I’ll be attending this event now.
  12. Nice, clean and effective. Although I thought you’d have a drop down cup holder in that space. :clown:
  13. How have you managed to make an EBC look good?
  14. Hello mate and welcome. Looks like a great car! I’m just wondering are the wheels the right way round?
  15. Has anyone ran any test to see what kind of restrictions the standard airbox has on the performance of a variety of modified 300zx (chipped, exhaust, turbo upgrades, forged etc...)? I’m finding myself being rather irritated by the noise of my cone air intake system (and the exhaust system) as I get older. However I am keen to keep the power level high and do want to look into a forged build with upgraded turbos, intercoolers, mapping and so on BUT want to keep the car civilised. Are there any 300zx out there with big power outputs yet nice and quite in the car! Cheers, Chris.
  16. Hi Luke. What’s the condition of the boot carpet if it’s not been sold yet? I noticed mine has a small rip in it. Also, and this is going to sound really precious, do you have the bolt that secures the boot curtain roller holder to the boot arch lining? I can take a picture if needed. Cheers, Chris.
  17. Thanks for the info. We could try a little group buy if there’s the interest?
  18. Thanks mate. Just to confirm JDM is 21mm and UK is 27mm. Is it really worth changining the rear on a UK car for another mm or two?
  19. That looks like it’s in great condition! :cool3:
  20. It’s my understanding that UK cars have thicker ARBs already. Is it still worth replacing on UK cars?
  21. I’m not very hot on springs, what do you mean by “6-4” and “chassis dynamic springs”? Can you recommend a spring set that will drop the car around 20-30 and not be harsh?
  22. Replace! It’s unlikely you’ve done the damage so there’s a good chance more holes will start appearing.
  23. I’m hoping to do the same sort of thing this winter Adam. My aim is to have a smooth, quite ride whilst trying to remove roll whilst retaining and restoring as many of the original components as possible (OEM+). I have tokico illumina shocks on standard springs (although I do want to lower it a little, so if anyone can recommend a set that would fit my brief I’d be great full for the advice). I’ve been looking for Nismo bushes but they seem hard to find. Theres also a lot of Whiteline and Energy Supression products but from what I’ve read these seem to be former than the Nismo product.
  24. Hi Luke I’m such a nob, I didn’t realise that I needed the “bolts” that held the gas struts in place. Could you please remove the 4 bolts and post them to me along with the radio surround cover when you find it? Also, while fitting those boot linings you sold, I noticed that one of my rear seat clips were missing. I’ve attached a picture of the part I need, if you have these can you send them too. WhatsApp me what you want for them mate (including postage) and I’ll do a BACS payment. Cheers, Chris.
  25. All the cars I’ve cut up over the years I’ve never noticed one that didn’t have retaining clips. Thanks guys!
