One of my very few dislikes about the 300 is the steering wheel. Actually it’s not the wheel itself, the none airbag wheel is very nice, it’s the lack of leg room when getting in the car which could have been sorted if the steering wheel could be raised. I’ve been toying with one of these flat bottom wheels in the hope it might just give me the extra space I would like and still look OEMish. Has anyone tried one of these steering wheels? Also would there be fitting issues as is says it’s for a “90-“91 300zx? Cheers, Chris.

I’m not a big fan of the first set (can’t put my finger on why) and I think the second set are a bit soft looking for the 300 which has harder sharper lines.

I’ll give you £160 for the lot if they’re really good. :thumbup:

Thanks Andrew. That system in the pdf seems to be a lot like the system I was sold with my Navara for the boys seats. I’ll have a look to see if that webbing can be incorporated into the 300s anchor system. :thumbup:

As Si said. I had the same with a previous car. Mine didn’t smoke under acceleration nor on start up, it smoked after the oil got hot and within a minute of standing still. It was a very blue colour smoke.

I’m hoping someone might be able to explain why you would both have the same profile on both the front and rear tyres? I was just about to order a set of four new tyres when I noticed that the fronts are currently 235/40/18 when the rears are 265/35/18. Cheers, Chris.

Cheers Richard. I tried to order a set through Nissan the other day but was told they’re no longer available. However I just looked on ACPF and they seem to be availabe there. Maybe Nissan we’re understanding me over the phone. Personally I think the standard colour suit me flip paint better than the 99 spec. P.s. Who’s Baz?

Does anyone know if you can get new lense covers as mine are chipped and scratched and I can’t find a good used set?

It was some time ago but back when I had my Fiat Coupe 20vt I had it live mapped after fitting a load of mods. I asked the guys who were going to map it what fuel they recommended and they said that the Tesco’s fuel was as good as any of the premium high octagon fuel.

Kraftworks in chelmsford Ive not used them yet but have been in contact with Davide about work being done to my car. I’ve contacted these guys as two at least two of the best cars in the club use them and have nothing but praise for them. Like you cost I’m of the opinion that I’d rather get the job done properly than “save a few quid” and try another body shop. Good luck with your search. :thumbup:

New spoiler ordered through Nissan, 6-8 weeks delivered. I’ve spoken to Davide at Kraftworks and when the spoiler arrives I’ll go pay them a visit to see what we can do about colour matching. Andrew how do you go about booking a space to show your car?

Sorry if this has been suggested, it all got a bit too technical for me a long time ago, but could you not pop another 300s discs and calipers on your car for a test. For a man of your skills it wouldn’t take too long would it? Your more than welcome to use my car and pull my discs and calipers off, they’re standards calipers and 355 discs on a spacer.
