  1. Yes, that’s the bit I mean. I’ll see if I can find a strip with the same profile that can be bounded on if needs be. Thanks Joely.
  2. That’s the same part as this? That’s not the part that I’m worried about, I’m looking at the rubber lip that runs parallel with the boot rubber. Is that bounded to the glass Jeff?
  3. Thanks for the advice Jeff, I now understand why mine looks like it does (not very good).
  4. The spoiler does look crap BUT the UK cars had a blanking plate where the 3rd light is. If that’s in a box somewhere then I think Gary (GSC) was after one. You also have what looks like a 3rd brake light fitted in the spoiler.
  5. Mine doesn’t work on the doors either and the black key only unlocks the door.
  6. Ok mate. Go easy taking the glass out and I’ll take a look at them when I collect the other gear. Cheers Luke.
  7. Hi guys. So what’s really letting the exterior of my car down now (apart from the colour I hear some of you say) is the various trim and rubbers around the glass. I’ve been able to find most of them but need a hand finding others. There seems to be a lot of difference between prices from supplier to supplier so I’d like to see option rather than got straight to Nissan. I’ll also use this post to ask for help fitting the pieces as they arrive. The first piece I’m struggling to find is the rear quarter glass upper edge trim. Do you know where I can order it from? Cheers, Chris I’ve attached a photo so you can see the bit I mean.
  8. They all look great but the Canna di Fucile really does look awesome!
  9. That was Ashes to Ashes Andrew, a better show in my opinion. Mars was this one... - - - Updated - - - It’s all very cool and I would like to spend more time on the subject myself.
  10. Happy birthday! :happybday:
  11. Rear wing!
  12. Can you guess what it is yet? :dots:
  13. But I think we’re taking an old mans view of it now? I mean to say that in the “90s did the “80s generation ask what we were doing to “their” cars. I know I Chaved up my fair share of XR3i’s ect... Yes the modding game has come a long way but I think it’s long since peeked and these kind of Max Powered, Fast and Furious cars are slowly being sent to scrap heaven. Also if you take the 370z IMO it’s still on par with the low end Porsche and fast BMWs which, as you say Jeff, is what the 300zx was aimed at.:thumbup1:
  14. Who was doing the mot and what was the issue mate? Best to give others a heads up. Sorry it’s not panning out to be the car you hoped. Was there no one able to give you an evaluation of the car before you parted with the cash. I’d be up for a fresh import but would want to pick my car and get a full report before buying.
  15. I remember my first 300 day. I was 21 and found a very nice “89 metallic grey import. £5.5k would secure this beast so I had to get a loan to cover it. I had a second stage interview to join the police service the next day and I couldn’t wait to drive her the 80 miles to smash this interview out. UNFORTUNATLY after getting home that evening and whist taking a mate out to show him how cool my new car was the auto box developed a fault and wouldn’t get out of first. :w00t: Thankfully the dealer took the car back on warranty and fixed it with a recon box and auto cooler which took weeks to get done. As you can imagine I was not in the best frame of mind for the interview, I got rejected under the grounds of “lacking in diversity”. It all came good in the end though as I ended up having a thing for UK manuals and joined the fire service.
  16. I think Jeff has the right idea for such a stock car. Gary’s yellow UK is sitting on stock suspension I believe with 19” wheels and it looks great.
  17. Come on, this sound too good. Tell us or I’ll start a post about Love Island. :death:
  18. You read my mind, great film! :cool3:
  19. I did ask him myself some time ago but was told by Simon that he’s got 10 kids to feed and that this group buy has already left them sharing one pair of shoes between the lot of them and living of baked beans.
  20. The gloss back will show any areas that need a little more fine filler put down so it wasn’t time waisted if you do go for a satin black.
  21. Interesting design and a vast improvement over the old design. I think it would look a lot better satin back though.
  22. If the radio surround is perfect then I’ll take the lot then mate. I’ll also take the OEM headunit and CD player if you have that in a box to. And I only need the pod not the controls.
  23. And the radio surround top screw covers if good and the air con pod holder if I damaged please.
