How to remove boot struts
I’m just looking for a bit of advice on how to remove the standard UK gas struts. I can’t see any retaking clips and I’m worried I’m going to break something if I push them any harder. Cheers, Chris.

Project UK rewind
Today I had a bit of time and took the opportunity to change the badly damaged and drilled boot lining over the arches. The original set had several deep scuffs in them but the real issue was where the previous owner had drilled holes to fit a shelf for 6x9s and holes to easily access the adjustable suspension. I removed the shelf some time ago but I’ve attached the picture to keep the progress together. Now it’s starting to come together but I’m still on the look out for even better. ?

FAO any interior Group Buy participants having seats trimmed - another Group Buy?
Si, is it worth changing the title of the post as it looks as though it’s only for those people who are getting their interior redon by you? Some people might not be reading the post and understanding that anyone can get involved.

Project Wide Arch - UK - TT
Any updates on this mate? I spotted a very nice blue/grey Ford Focus today and thought that would look nice on a 300 but haven’t been able to find the colour online yet. EDIT; Just found it, Stealth Grey

World Cup
On the whole I’ve been very happy with what this young team has done for English football at the World Cup. They showed resilience, integrity, solid nerves and have helped towards reuniting their supports behind the team and I’m sure inspire another generation of kids. On the down side it still seems like we’re always going to have to score two as we’re very likely to let one in and there was still too much back chat to refs. Looking to the future hopefully one of these players will grow to become a clear captain (I don’t think it’s Harry) or to find a solid midfielder who can control the game from the centre. Now bring on the rugby!!!

Hi Luke. I sent you a WatsApp a few weeks ago regarding collection and a few other things but it looks like you’ve not read it. I’m ready to collect from next week. Cheers, Chris.

Modifying existing exhaust
Hi guys I been wondering if it’s possible to adjust the rear pipes of an exhaust? I’ve currently got, what appears to be, a very well made, nice sounding full custom exhaust. The only issue is I really want a quad exhaust. Has anyone made adjustments to their pipes, where did you go and where you happy with the results? Cheers, Chris.

You say that but the impression I had from his post was that he had an emotional attachment to the car and wanted to keep it.

Gary, sorry I think I forgot to say that I had a look in the box of stereos and there was only one UK CD player and that’s in my car now.

White UK 300 breaking
I am going to be taking it mate. You’re more than welcome to my old one for free when I take it off but it will need some filling and paint however it’s not split at the screw holes.

I wondered when this would come up for sale. Looks like a perfect example and worth every penny from what I can see. :cool3:

I did log back in. My account holds information on my build that I can’t remember, details of who I sold her to, traceable info where the car is now (not that I would want my old love back), contacts and if I want to sell some of my spares I still have in the loft people can trace my profile.:innocent: I’m happy they emailed me and I’m confident they have abused my information. I also doubt that what they’ve done match’s to what I’ve said, that’s just what I think they’ve done. If you want I could forward the email to you, via pm, as it might be a good template should we chose to go down the same route.

I had a message via my registered email address from one of my old forums, fccuk.org (great forum!), telling me that they were having a forum members clear out and that unless each member logged in within however many days their account would be deleted. Seems like they were suffering from the same problem and wanted a tidy up. Very good way of dealing with the issue I thought.

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
Looks great. Why did you decide to go for these instead of a set of the other calipers you’ve reconditioned?

I think that looks a lot better mate. Also I’m fairly sure you can get a satin clear coat out of a can, I think it would be worth the effort to keep it looking smart. :cool3:
