BP Ultimate vs Optimax???
Thanks Ajay, That would seem to make more sence if it is infact the proper figure. Still seems to be a few people not rating it though. I guess the cost might have something to do with it. Come on BP, don't price ya self outta the market! Justin

Nitrous Oxide
I must agree with you I guess MIke, probably a waste of money really, seeing I could probaly get an extra 80bhp or so with a chip and leccy boost controller for similar money. Those purge kits look cool tho! Justin:)

Nitrous Oxide
Hi, This is probably a passing phase seeing I have just finished watching 2 fast 2 furious but I have a question on NOS if anyone has any experience with it. I know the smallest jets that can be bought for NOS is 25bhp. Would I need to do extensive work on my engine and gearbox internals to use jets this big or would a standard set up be capable of handling this sort of power. If so then how about 50 bhp jets? Cheers, Justin

BP Ultimate vs Optimax???
Well, there we go then. Must be surely inferior to Optimax then. They are both better for your engine, MPG, performance, environment, cleaner burning but one is 97 and the other is 98. Nuff said!

BP Ultimate vs Optimax???
I wonder in that case if Ultimtate is 100 RON. It seems pointless to release a fuel which has obviously been put out there to compete in the niche that Optimax as enjoyed exclusively up to now with a fuel of only 97 RON. And what with the extortionate price and all! I have looked on the BP website and nothing is said about octane what so ever. Any more veiws on this? Justin

BP Ultimate vs Optimax???
The other day I decided to try this BP Ultimate stuff to see if there was any comparision to the Optimax I usually use. As I thought there was no real noticable difference apart from the price, 87.9 pence per litre! I never pay more than 82.9 round my way for a litre of Shells finest. I have also been told that depite all BP's "improvements" to there standard super unleaded it is still only giving 97 octane. ! less than Optimax. Is there anything that makes BP Ultimate better than Optimax and is it really worth the extra 5p on every litre! Anyway, starting to sound like a moaning old anorak now so will let ya guys say your stuff! Cheers, Justin

Another MR2 turbo question. Sorry guys!
Hi, I have another MR2 question for you lot who have owned or driven them in the past. I know I should just post this on the MR2 forum but they are all useless and you guys seem alot more helpful. Its for sale anyway, Zed on its way so not a complete traitor! Anyway, to the point, I have a guy coming round to look at my car tomorrow for a second veiwing and has mentioned that he thought the gearbox was "notchy". It has always been like this and i have had it 3 years and nothing has gone wrong with the box. I assumed that MR2 turbo's gearboxes are just notchy as a characteristic . Am I wrong and will I have to chop loads of money off cos of a dodgy box? Cheers guys, Justin.

I hope the guy who quoted me got his facts right then. I told him clear as a bell that my car was an import TT. Is anyone on here insuring an import with Carole Nash and has there been any problems. I want to make sure its all clear before I get excited about my bargain quote. Cheers, Justin.

Hi Chris, I spoke to the bossman a few weeks back and he said that as long as your car is not in need of an SVA test then it should be ready about 2-3 days after it docks. I'm a bit concerned about how they will mount the fog light though. Bet they just hang it under the rear bumper. I thinbk that looks horrible. Justin.
