Hi Simmo, The agent I'm dealing with, Bonsaicars does offer warranties through Warranty Wise and they told me I could get a quote when the car arrived. I am just looking around for myself at the momet and see what sorta price and cover I am looking at. The car is auction grade 4 which is very high so am not expecting any nightmares. It would be nice to have some kinda peace of mind though if the worst happens. Justin.

Hi, I am getting my Zed from Japan in the next month or so and seeing I have only seen pics and an engineers report for the car I feel it would be wise to invest in a good lengthy warranty when it arrives to safeguard me against any wallet crushing repair bills! Does anyone know of any decent warranties out there and how much am I talking about having to shell out? I need one for a year at least, maybe two and it needs to be as comprehensive as possible with the parts covered. Cheers all, Justin.

I have a 1990 TT import and mine are clear. I think it is a popular mod in Japan or maybe a factory fitted option. Justin.

Hi all, Because of the MR2 Drivers club forum being down at the moment I need some help from you guys if you can. Before I get a load of crap for being the "enemy" I do actually have a Zed coming from Japan at the moment and am selling my MR2 turbo to fund it. Anyway, to my problem. I am having trouble with the central locking on my car. When I lock the car with the key I can only get the drivers door to lock and the passengers door won't. I have manged to fix the problem for a few days at a time by spraying WD40 in the lock but now that does not even work. I really need to fix it to shift the car if I can so any advice on how I could remedy it would be most appreciated. I have a guy interested at the moment and I need to fix it quick before he knocks me down any further on price! Many thanks, Justin :)

Is the the wipeable seats issue related to the dog in seat thing or the shagging in Zed thing? LOL. I guess it could be both! Anyway, how did we get onto this? I only asked if there was room for anyone to sit (thats SIT) in the back! Justin:D

Hi, as some of you already know I am awaiting delivery of my first Zed from Japan. I just have a question for all you 2+2 owners out there. Are the back seats really any use for a couple of passengers or am I restricted to giving lifts to people the size of Hobits! I am only 5ft9 myself so would not need the driver seat pushed too far back so should give em a bit more room in the back. Cheers, Justin.

For all of you like myself who are fortunate enough to have two cars then this tip may save ya all a few pennies. If you insure with Bell Direct then if you bring your second car to them they will match your bonus. It worked great for me. Already had 4 years bonus on my first car and when I bought a second they gave me 4 years on that too. Bargain!

My car is a 1990 twin turbo tbar. It is only a second car so only need it be insured for 3000 miles a year and for pleasure purposes. How can I get hold of your insurance company and do I need any expensive gadgets like trackers to get insured with them? Why would a Z31 be more expensive to insure? Justin

Hi all, I have just had the most amazing quote from Bell Direct. I'm 27, 4 years NCB, one fault accident. My car is an import manual TT 2+2 tbar. How does £730 fully comp sound? A bit of a bargain me thinks!

Ok, thanks again Matt, I might well be getting one soon second hand so a hand from someone who knows what they are doing to fit help fit it would be most appreciated:) I will not get the car for about 7 weeks though or as long as it takes to get from Japan anyway! The car is a 1990 TT manual with an HKS Drager zorst. By the time I fit say an Apexi induction kit and a get a boost controller fitted do you know what sorta power I can expect, say at 14 psi? Justin
