Why do ppl still all want manuals ?!?!
I think the main factor that there is more auto's out there is because of the imports. Auto's are alot more popular with the Japanese home market. I guess it is mostly down to the fact they spend most of the time sat in traffic jams. Justin

Why do ppl still all want manuals ?!?!
I bought an auto because my Zed is my weekend fun car and have always felt that the Zed it is a sporty car that Manual was the right way to go. After all, how many auto boxes (not including tiptronic type) have seen in Ferrari's or Lambo's? I have to admit I have never been in nor driven an auto Zed and I am sure they drive beautifully. If it was my everydayy car I would probably given more thought to an auto. Especially taking into account they are cheaper to buy in general. Hope I am not gonna get pelted by all you auto guy's now!  Justin

Wedding car needed
Hi Molly, I have a Red Zed, I have not had it long so am now busy making it look nice. I know Magnum very well and nearly bought a car from them a few years back. As you said though, they are expensive but to be fair, the cars are mint. Now you say it I seem to remember a brown convertable Zed being parked outside Magnum. I think it was the bosses car. Anyway, what is your email address and I will send you a few pics of my car. I would also consider James offer as his car look in lovely nick. Cheers, Justin:)

Wedding car needed
Yeah, fair point Mickey, I hope you would not mind being a little cramped up as the Zed is not that well endowed when it comes to Passenger space. Its certainly no Bentley! Mind you, who wants to be seen in a Bentley anyway! Justin

Wedding car needed
Hi, I have to say that I have never seen a brown Zed before. Anyway, I am quite local to Guildford, I live in Frimley. I would be happy to lend my services if you get stuck but will have to check what is on at work as I am a chef and work some funny hours. My car is in the body shop being made nice at the moment so will send you some pics in about a week whne it is done. I know there is a few Zed owners within easy reach of Guildford so I am sure you will get someone if I am not able to make it. I will spread the word for you ;) Justin

Another noise from my Zed
Thanks, I guess it could well be something like that. I wonder if because I can here the noise on tickover and out of gear then maybe that would make the prop less probable? Justin

Another noise from my Zed
Hi all, I have now noticed another noise coming from my Zed. I am getting a tappety noise coming from under the car. Its definetly not from the engine as it is coming from something about half way along the car. I am still getting this wurring noise from the rear and a vibration through my seat. Is it likely that all these things would point to a faulty prop centre bearing? I was unsure before but now I have this new noise surely this can be the only thing? Cheers, Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Thanks John, I will have a go in it tonight and see if I can find out exactly when it all occurs. Will post the results later. Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Thanks MIke, I am hoping it is nothing to do with the prop. I do still have alot of wurring noise going on. I guess this is most probably the rear wheel bearings as my Mechanic figured. My rtracking is ever so slightly out aswell. Guess this would not help matters. If I get the wheels tracked will I need to have a complete 4 wheel track seeing the Zed steers with all four? Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Damn, That's a fair bit of cash! Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the bearing from the States to maybe keep the price down a bit? Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Cheers guys, Does anyone know how much money I can expect to pay out to get this done? Say working on about £40 per hour. Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Good point Willie, Looks like I better look into getting the prop bearing done then. More money  LOL Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Cheers Adam, I think personaly that it is something like the prop. I just don't want to do the prop then find out it was something else. I guess if it had a new gearbox mount then it might have meant that extra strain was put on the bearing whilst the old mount was making the prop sag? Justin

Any chance bad wheel bearings can cause a vibration through the seat?
Hi all, I am still trying to crack this little problem with my new Zed. I have got wurring noises from the rear and vibrations coming through my seat. I have visited my local mechanics and he thinks it might well be a rear wheel bearing as the vibrations don't get any better when the car is put into neutral and no vibratations could be felt when I put my hand on the transmission tunnel. I was also told that I had had a new gearbox mounting bracket. Something else I know can be a cause of vibrations. This surely eliminates a dodgy mounting bracket though? The mechanic is sure it is a rear wheel bearing. I am not convinced though as I am not sure that this would cause vibrations through my seat? Anyone had vibrations like this from worn wheel bearings? Cheers, Justin
