  1. I will be very interested in the near future. Just a few questions. One of my front wheels has a slight buckle. Will you be able to put it right for extra cost? I also need a new BBS centre nut I have just bought sprayed to match the three original ones I have. Will this be possible? I know the white, black and silver finishes are self explainatory but can u elaborate a bit on the High power black, titanium and polished finishes. With the polished finish are the alloys actually polished or is it just an effect to mkake it look like they are to give it a similar look. I know proper polished alloys look the nuts but can be very hard work to look after in the winter with all the salt on the roads. Cheers Stevo, Justin
  2. Got mine today Harve. Thanks mate, Justin:)
  3. I am in need of a refurb in the near future. I have small buckle on the front and a missing BBS center cap but am sure I could source one that could be matched to the others when refurbed. Would the buckle be a problem or can it be sorted? Cheers, Justin
  4. Ok, will do. Just need to buy a set now. Then I need to spk to Matt MTL very nicely indeed for a hand!
  5. 12 hours! Oh the joys of Zed ownership! Sure its will be worth it as you say though:) Cheers JD
  6. My bushes are knackered and am going to go the same route as most of you despite the warnings on safety floating about. Just want to know how long it took you DIY'ers out there to fit the whole kit and was it difficult? Cheers, Justin
  7. Cheers Harve, Your cheque is in the post to you and will give you a ring when I get the kit. Justin
  8. Thanks for that Andy, I don't suppose you or anyone else would know of any good places to fit and set up all this for me? Justin
  9. Just bought a Camber adjustment kit from Harvey. I am gonna need to get it fitted asap as the car is ripping the hell out of my tyres inside edges. I have been told I will need to fit new tyres when I get it fitted anyway so is not going to be a cheap job. Is it going to cost me even moe to get the kit fitted or is it a doddle? Cheers, Justin
  10. Hi will organise a pic guys, you big pervs!!!!LOL
  11. Would super unleaded put the timing out then? I thought it was ok to put in any car?
  12. Hi Jay, I reckon it was a good chance it was me. Were you in your Zed? I don't know where she got it from, she lives in Guildford so a good chnace she got it from there. Its a 1.2 clio. Justin
  13. LOL, Shrimpo, ever thought about being an agony uncle!!!
  14. LOL, yeah, thats what I thought, surely renault give ya more than a year!
  15. Hey guys, Ok, here's the deal. Went out on Friday for a couple of girls I know 21st birthday party. Anyway, I ended up pulling one of the birthday girsl and she is gorgeous and am hopefully going out for a drink with her this week. She has a 1 year old renault clio which I said I would have a look at after clubbing as it has a problem. I have looked at it but am a little unsure what it is. When I started it up it missed for a couple of seconds then was ok for a couple more then stalled. She says it's worse when its warmed up which I though was strange. She was always putting super unleaded in but can't afford it now so uses regular stuff but was thinking that was the problem but can't see that being it to be honest! Anyway, over to you mechanically minded guys, can you help me fix this girlies car and put the iceing on the cake for me? :hyper: Justin:)
  16. How hard are these camber kits to fit?
  17. Cheers Jeff, So I take it all I need is a front camber kit then. I would imagain I will need a camber check done first though?
  18. Top man, thanks for that:) I would imagine I would need to get a check done first. Any ideas of a good place around Surrey?
  19. Doing a search I have found that worn bushes can also be an issue. Mine are leaking something rotten at the mo. Loads of spots of liquid on the tarmac where I park my car. I guess it could be a set of polybushes as well as a camber kit on its way, or could it just be the bushes causing the problem? Justin
  20. Well, I guess the camber correction kit has to make more sense seeing I am anything but minted at the moment. Will I need to know how much mine has been lowered by to set the kit? I don't have a clue how much mine has been lowered by as the springs (progressive jobbies) were already on the car when I got it from Japan. I did put new KYB shocks on it though as the old trust ones I had were shot.
  21. Hi all, Have a bit of a large problem with the camber etc settings on my Zed because it has been lowered. It started with a trip down to my local tyre place to mend a suspected slow puncture on my drivers side front. As soon as the guy took the tyre of it was apparent I had a bigger problem. The inside edge had been chewed up something rotten and the guys could not believe I had not had a blowout! All the other tyres are bald on the inside edges too, but not actually splitting. I have had 2 new tyres on the front for now but I am going to have the same problem unless I get the this set up right. I called a guy that was recommended by my tyre place and when I called him he said he could not do it unless he had the figures to set up all the HICAS gubbins on the rear, something about needing to find the neutral setting. He also said he can't do it because my wheels (18's) are too big to go on his machine or whatever they use. What's the deal with this camber correction kit I keep on hearing about? Can anyone please help me on this matter, Justin
  22. Looks right on the money mate:) Will get onto BBS and see what they can do for me. Fingers crossed and thanks again, Justin
  23. Hi, No luck yet I'm afraid. I would love to see the pics and see how good a match they are to mine. I could then use the numbers you gave me to perhaps get a new one sorted from BBS. I don't know if the files are that big or not but I am sure I could make some room if you emailed them to me. Addy is justindorville@hotmail.com. Many thanks for all your help on this matter mate, much appreciated:) Justin
  24. Saw a white F reg zed cruising down Camberley high street about 11pm last night (saturday). Anyone here? Justin
  25. Just need to add having owned both that in general the Zed is a faster car, (it still blows my mind when I mash the fast pedal into the ground  ) just not down the 1/4 mile
