advice needed for a friend :)
Absolute Rip off unless she has a Ferrari or something exotic! I had to have a recon gearbox put in my Suzuki Baleno when it gave up the ghost on me. That cost me just a little over £600 all in and thats for a gearbox! Sounds like another case of garages taking the piss out of the girlies limited knowledge of cars! :slap: Justin ;)

FAO baggins (or anybody else!) bashed up pulley
David, I have just had an Unorthodox pulley fitted by Ryan when he did my Cambelt service. Its and awsome bit of kit. I know these are supposed to be about the best balanced of the lot. However, if you are looking for a cheap fix I have my old one you can have. I'm a little closer to you than Grimsby! LOL Let me know, Justin

camber out
The adjustable upper are a less crude option but the shims are used by a number of guys on here and its a perfectly viable option, especially when you talk about money. I know Courtesy are wanting $300 for a pair and thats before you look at shipping and "Tony's" cut! Best bet if you do want the adjustable uppers is to take a look at Chris@GetGreddy's site and I think a couple of other traders on here can get them at a good price also. Or you could just buy my camber kit!;) LOL

camber out
Its just a bag full of longer bolts and shims of different sizes. The shims fit between the wheelarch and the upper arms.

Graphics on Zeds
Mine had it all down the sides when it arrived from Japan. Was not sure if I liked it or not but it had to go when I put the skirts on.

Tyre Advice pls
Hi, Depends on your budget but if you are after a very good compromise between cost, performance and lastability then I had Falkens on my MR2 Turbo and they were excellent. I have just had Fulda Extremos (£112 each for 265-35-18) and they are excellent in both wet and dry. Hope this helps, Justin:)

saying alright and a few queries!
Welcome Chris, I will leave all the technical stuff to the clever lot on here but I'm sure you will continue loving your zed. If anything goes wrong then the guys on here will always come to the rescue  Enjoy, Justin:)

Done to death I know, sorry!!!
Oh yeah, I recognise you car now. I have just got back from the pub and ist really icy so had to be a bit careful but the pulley is the best thing I have done to my car so far! Its a must if your having a cambelt service done too as it cost no extra to fit it. What had Ryan done on your car? Justin

Done to death I know, sorry!!!
Am just asking out of interest really. And am trying to work out how much my car would roughly be producing after the mods I have put on. Baggins put an underdrive pulley on my car today. Makes a real difference. Much better than expected:)
-
Done to death I know, sorry!!!
Thanks for the replies. So I take it 300bhp is the figure I was looking for. Was hoping I would not be told thats it was 280! Do I get any extra for it being red? :D Justin

Anyone for a quick Civic
All that power out of a 1.6!!!!! Another seller telling porky pies maybe??? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18206&item=4512914306&rd=1 Justin

Done to death I know, sorry!!!
I know this has been covered more than a few times before but it never seems to be settled. What power do TT Zeds put out as standard! :headvswal I know there is specualtion that J spec have more power than UK and vice versa. And then there is Auto v Manual. Then of course, colour makes a big difference  What do you lot reckon my 1990 J spec Manual TT in RED  would be pushing out when new in standard trim? Anyone got any official Nissan figures for all this. I know in Japan that all cars are not allowed to put out more than "280 bhp" I know for a fact that standard Scoobys coming out of Japan have been quoted at almost 310 bhp and all Supras I think have 326 bhp as standard regardless of where they were first registered? How hard is it to fit a front wing?
Cheers for your replies Jock and Andy:) Chunnk, I will post on here when I have got it all sorted. Might be a while though as I am first gonna have find a red wing and then work out how I am gonna pay for it with all this unwanted Xmas expense:( Cheers guys, Justin

How hard is it to fit a front wing?
Having given the Zed a good clean today I have noticed under all the dirt that some tosser has decided to make a few body mods to my car and pushed in the drivers side front wing very slightly :slap: . It is bugging me so badly that I have gotta get it sorted. I am guessing the cheapest way is to source a second hand wing in the same colour as my car and fit it. Just wanna know if its an easy job or not. Is it just a bolt off, bolt on jobby? Cheers guys, Justin.
