Can anyone help me! My car has failed its MOT on a few small things, one being that the boot won't open:( If I pull the lever in the cabin then the boot interior light comes on and I can here a small noise of the catch doing something but the boot lid wont actually pop. I can't open it from the outside either, the key won't budge. I have sprayed the hell out of the mechanism with WD40 and still no joy. Any ideas? Justin:)

Hey Baz, Its all done mate bar finding a couple of big bolts to plug off the sensors and fitting the heat shields. I have snipped the sensors and will have a go at removing them out of my old cats now they are off the car. I will then use connectors to get the sensors working again. Now am I a genius or what:D Cheers again for giving me your cats and downpipes, your a star:)

In need of your wisdom yet again. I am in the middle of fitting some downpipes and cats for my zed and can't get the stupid heat sensors off. I have tried the blowtorch, WD40, mole grips, the lot! I can only use the grips now anyway as there is not much to get hold of now in the way of a spanner :headvswal Have you guys got any tips? Would it be possibel to snip them and then try and get them out off the car then going em up with connectors and some heatshrink afterwards? Justin:)

I know everyone goes on about Moto GP and I do enjoy it but lets be honest, its not exactly full of overtaking either is it! LOL

Now was that about the most exciting dozen laps or so at the end between Alonso and Schumi you have seen in a F1 race for years! :shock: :dance:

Think I saw your motor Gio parked up in the car park in Frimley about 4pm this afternoon. Going by the number plate I'm am guessing it is your Zed.

I need to have a quick rant about this. Put some more go-go juice in the Zed today at Fleet services Shell on the M3. 95p for a litre of Optimax!!! :shock: I have never paid so much for petrol before in my life and according to the guy at the tills its not about to get any better, infact he said prices are due to rocket again! :headvswal :mad: Justin

As far as I know I think what is said above still applies. It not up to our goverment. Brownie has to put the proposal to the EU and get all 25 (or however many there is) member states to agree then it can be taken further:( Having said this I would be also very interested to know if there has been any kind of movement on this matter.

Call me biased but I think my sideskirts improve the Zed over standard. Still stock looking but just gives it that something extra;)

No mate, it won't. You need the O2 sensors otherwise your car will run like a bag of bolts at best! As I said to you on MSN about decatting, its not a good idea unless your dad wants to potentially face the expense of new tubs. Do a search and make your own mind up though. Loads on decatting. As I said though, you will need the O2's regardless. Justin:)

I have a friend in the trade who has driven a number of luxury cars including loads of E46 m3's and he is not a fan of the SMG gearbox so maybe an idea to test drive with and without. HTH Justin:)
