  1. Mate just sent me this link. Dont open if you get offended easily! http://www.talentless.co.uk/ PMSL, better than the frog anyday!
  2. MTL recently fitted these bits for me with a little help from myself (not although I am much help really!) Thanks again for that Matt! Basically as Greg says really although to save disturbing the gaskets on the exhaust and to give you some more room I would remove the whole exhaust as it gives you quite a bit more room to work. You will need to get the car well in the air to enable you to drop the gearbox down so be careful. I would also replace the shifter bushings as welll as its an easy 2 minute job to do whilst the gearbox is off. This can be a three hour mission to do if they go at a later date and they cost only a few quid to buy. Might find this link some help maybe? http://www.ttzd.com/tech/clutchtech.html Good luck, Justin:)
  3. Yeah, I told em that but they were not having any of it! They are the experts I guess! Anyway, I have just taken the rear wheel off to take a peek behind the arch. Could not see much because its only troubling the outer skin it seems. I have noticed though that the two skins only seem to be held together by spot welds, leaving some gaps between the welds where water could maybe get between the skins. Anyone know if all zeds are spot welded like this?
  4. LOL, no worries guys. A bit of banter is always good:D I just wish I knew where the hell that water is coming from. The bodyshop didnt really know when they fixed it the last time.
  5. I have tried taking a pic but its so hard to see at the mo. Its in its very early stages but its on its way back. In the bodyshops defence I use them alot and they have always been very good. The rust was so bad when it was first done that they actually cut the rusty bit out and welded in a brand new bit of steel. I guess that puts the whole bodge job explanation to rest I would think?
  6. I don't know how familiar you lot are with rust on your Zeds but I have a real problem area. Its were the rear bumper joins the rear wing on the drivers side. See the pic below. I wouldn't mind but it can't of been more than three months ago that I got it sorted the first time it went. After a clean and polish yesterday I have noticed some bubbling again:( I have spoken to the body shop who sorted it for me first time around and they say that there must be water getting in somewhere. I don't know where though seeing they waxoiled it all to stop it coming back. Any idea where the water is coming in to cause the rust? Thanks, Justin:)
  7. Yeah, I guess I would rather it be Villa or Arsenal lifting the cup but I am just thrilled a team from this country has done the job!:D
  8. LOL, who can blame me for the first post though! Lets face it, they must have been making a space in the trophy cabinet back in Milan during the half time break! Its so good to see an English team show the rest of Europe how its done. What was it that Ronaldinho said a few months back...."not one english club will make it into the semis of the Champions League". :smash: Well take that goofy, sort ya teeth out!
  9. GET IN THERE!!! Well done boys!:D
  10. :x: I will eat my words then shall I!
  11. Poor old reds can't live with the Italian Giants:( I am not a fan of the Blues but I would have to say I think it might be a different story if it was Chelski playing Milan.
  12. LOL, I am been having the odd glimpse I guess. I was of course watching it for the music and nothing to do with the talent on show in the same way I watch Hollyoaks for the great acting and storylines!:D Great birds though anyway;)
  13. And this all has to do with the Fittest Girl how?:D LOL Come on Ladies get em out! I will ask my girlfriend if I can put another pic up. ;)
  14. Having seen the new Suzuki Swift on TV and on the local garage forecourt I must say the front is looking a little 350zish dont you think? Must say as small cars go I quite like it.
  15. They are not that easy to fit. You need to take off the exhaust, propshaft, heatshields, starter motor, gearbox and clutch. Worthwhile fitting one if you are in need of a new clutch though.
  16. Well done showing the Beemer a clean pair of heels mate. ;) I think this call for the return of the kills forum I think. Anyone know why it was removed in the first place? Nothing to do with encouraging racing was it!:D
  17. Just had a Fidanza one put on my car. Well worth the pennies:D
  18. I am not aware of what one Luke is doing. Mine is a Fidanza and it is over half the weight of stock and makes a huge difference to how the car goes. Without a doubt my fave mod to date. This place is great. Matt, your a star.
  19. I'm just round the corner from the Big Tescos at the Meadows in Sandhurst. Its 85.9p there. Think it does boost a little better.
  20. LOL, I will do my best Baz, its so quick now though that I will probably just fly over them! It's really nice to have everything working again now though:)
  21. Just want to say thanks to Matt and his Dad for helping me out in such a big way to fit my clutch and flywheel and various other goodies to my car yesterday. We encountered all kinds of problems and after over 12 hours work I finally drove it away at 1 am this morning. Hope your hand is ok mate and your Dads for that matter, can't believe you both cut your hands undoing the same bolt! The car runs so much better for the lightweight flywheel too, what an awesome mod! :hyper:  I owe ya big time mate, looks like the drinks will be on me for enternity! :duffer: Thanks again fella:) Justin
  22. Yeah, its only a bit of fun really. I can see Clarksons point in some ways. For example, say you had an Evo 8 and you were out with a girl who asked what Active Yaw control was. How geeky would you sound explaining that! LOL :D
  23. LOL, I wouldn't let it get to you mate. The 350's in pretty awsome company there be it cool or uncool!
  24. I saw this earlier too  Unbelievable! Wtf is this country coming to! Was it just me or were all these little twats 50 cent wannabies? The same little :xxx: 's that a couple of years later will be cutting us up on the roads in thier shitty Paxos! :slap: And what about the poor geezer who was filmed being set alight whilst he was asleep on a bench :( Call me harsh but I reckon they should just round up these dicks and shoot em. What use are they really gonna be to any of us later on in life anyway if they are doing stuff like this in thier mid teens! Rant over.
  25. Thought I would do a wee update here. I have been sending and recieving letters from this ladies insurance company and have had a couple of estimates. They are both around £1500 so in other words the cars a write off. I just have to hope now that her insurance is going to pay out so I can avoid the hassle of a potential court case. The insurance company (Norwich Union) is sending a techy out to look over the car in a week or so. I guess this is good news as surely if they were not going to go through with it then they would not send anyone out to see the car would they? Anyone know if this is usually just procedure before I get my hopes up? Justin:)
