tried to do the conversion but busted 2 sets of lights, so gave up and paid out, still wanna do the conversion on the set i removed, any tips!!

Think i will replace the centre bit at some point too, either gonna get the one that lights up (in white) or try to get hold of a plain black one with no 300zx on there at all, havent decided yet. defo want it to have the chrome bits round the lights though.

no, just use some sort of lever, like a bent screwdriver to push it back, get some brake cleaner spray to loosen it too, i had 1 sezed on the front and got it going again this way.

kick em out mate, or threaten too, that what i did to some nob head tennants we had and never heard a peep since, we made it clear that we were in control and didnt need them to be there and could easily get somebody else in, like you say, just mouthy scrubbers who get confident when they had a few tinnies.

you need to file the din slot back a few mm in width, and have it at the top slot so the clip in cover fills the small gaps at the top, and you can bend the holders back to make it a solid fit.

that the holder i used, just a little gentle pursuasion and it will fit

think mario is selling a full console wi a 3 gauge holder modded in, i also made my own, just bought a stepped singe din gauge holder off ebay the siliconed it in, had to do a bit of filing down of the console to get it to fit but it defo is possible cos ive done it, and it looks the dogs, but i aint got no photos to show you
