i get my dad to insure mine and i drive it 3rd party with insurance from my other car thats fully comp, he's 49, 3.5k agree val, wheels declaired but no other mods, about 170 quid a year.

what a shame bout the strosek, i know you loved that front too, tbh though mate, the new one looks just as good.

if its an import it may be a switch for a rear fog light, jap cars dont have them so one has be put in aftermarket to pass the mot over here, mine has one to the right of the steering wheel too.

gonna change the ptu over first, see if that sorts it, ill take it from there but cheers for the advice

2 mins 2.20 30 seconds this one is quality there must have been 30-40k people around the area watching them fall last night, every road around the area was lined with parked cars and thousands of people lined every street to see them fall, a great atmosphere when they finally went.

my car has an intermittent problem, sometimes it wont start, car just coughs and cought and cought but never starts, then you try it again and and have it coughing for 10 seconds and it just manages to get itself started, but is a real struggle, it only does this sometimes, othertimes it starts straight away. also another intermittent problem is when im driving and i come up to a junction, slow down to about 2 mph, when i press the throttle to pull away the rev needle drops a little the engine goes quiet, hesitates then goes back to normal and pulls away. again this is very intermittent but is making me not wanna drive it anywhere cos im thinking it might not start on the way back or when i get to a junction its gonna cut out (which is what the car feels like its going to do).an example of the imtermittentness is i got in the car on wednesday, its started fine, drove to rotherham(5 miles) and was hesitating at junctions and roundabouts, got to where i was going and parked up. can back to car after a few hours and wouldnt start, tried 3/4 times and got it going, drove home with no hesitation whatsoever. sorry about the essay but whats going on??????

maybe, depends on if im still awake, they are keeping all the upper levels of the car park around meadowhall open so you will be able to get an awsome view of them going down, although i can see them from my back garden so i might just watch from there.

no, they havent been used for ages, just a bit of a landmark but with all the vibrations from the motorway and being so exposed to the elements they have become unrepairable (apparently).

Dont know if anybody cares but The Cooling Towers that stand at the side of the M1 at junction 34 are being blown up tonight at around 3am, the M1 is being closed from 11pm tonight until later on sunday afternoon between j32 and j35, as are most of the roads around meadowhall. its i shame cos i love em!

smoke could be pcv valves, mine does it when idling and facing down hill, get em cleaned/replaced first before you start going down the turbo route

is that around that area, it does sound as though coming from really low down on the car, when i lay and look from the exhaust up the length of the car thats when it sounds the loudest

for some reason since today a wierd buzzing has started to happen whenever i unlock the car with the cobra remote for the alarm. it sounds like its coming from the rear passenger wheel, at first thought it was the boot lock, then the passenger door but it sounds defo loudest around the passenger wheel area anybody any ideas????? also it starts then sometimes stops really quickly, other times it does it for 20 odd seconds, and it stop / starts if you press down on the rear spoiler near the buzzing???
