  2. Today I had some continental sport contact 6 put on the rear wheels and fitted 4 new hard pipes. That's me set for the summer now, taking it up to Leeds tomorrow to break the tyres in, fingers crossed they don't wear out as quick as some say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Works a treat, sold loads of stuff through it that without it wouldn't have shifted, eBay just work out what it costs to ship from A-B and you just pay what they quote you, they take care of everything else and it turns up like it would do if you were buying off a seller around the corner. Brilliant idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So im going to put some new tyres on the rear of my car. I drive it in the dry, and on occasions the wet knowing what the British weather is like. I'm always very wary about in the wet and never trust the back end won't kick out of I put the foot down. After reading this thread am I right in thinking the continental SC5's are the tyre to go for for wet and dry performance. my wheel size is 245/35/19 and on AGX adjustable suspension. Or better still the conti sc6 for virtually the same money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I picked up my Zed today from Automodz after having both turbos replaced and a few other little bits and pieces sorted out. Feels good again. Weather was shite which was a real shame but got a few hours behind the wheel which was good. So that's that, back on the road for the first time since 2010, fingers crossed for some good weather now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks pal, will sort the resub tomorrow on my work laptop, don't think you can do much on this tapatalk app. The car is defo coming out this summer, insurance paid, MOT happening this Monday morning, tax will follow that. Already been tinkering since I got it back to my house. Managed to rewire my amp and sub tonight and put back in the custom boxes I made for the boot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. MOT and a service Friday, then having a bit of work done the following week then I'm good to go for the summer. Quite looking forward to it[emoji3] What's the deal with car tax these days, it's changed since I last taxed it where u can now tax it monthly I believe. So does this mean I can effectively tax the car for say 8 months then cancel it if I take it off the road in the winter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I remember those times mate, it was so much easier to manage, I was all over it and paid next to nothing for gas, electric and water, No chance of that now. I'll be driving a LWB next!!! [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I pay about 120 a month in gas and electric, 2 young kids sees to that price. Water for me is a joke of a price at 82 quid a month for 8 months. Again 2 young kids means no point having a meter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What u want for it mate, is it just the plain black one, no Nissan/fairlady branding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Anybody know where I can order Nissan parts online and have them posted out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thank you Jeff, much appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Hi all, as some of u know my car has been in storage for quite a while and I'm putting her back on the road for the summer. While it has been stood the black strip under the rear spoiler (I've seen them in the past say Nissan fairlady on them) has started to peel away. What would you recommend to either stick it back down so it stays put without creases/bubbles or where to go to get a new plain strip that I presume are self adhesive. A link would be very useful if possible Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Do they give discounts on the product if we group buy or just on the postage costs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Can't see anything obvious, I knew there was a reason I've been flush for the last 6 years I just couldn't put my finger on why [emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks guys, one thing u will learn about me is I have lots of enthusiasm for these cars but zero ability to fix them but I will have a look later. Thanks again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So I shelled out for some insurance today and reconnected the battery after what must be 2.5 years. Unbelievably it started first turn of the key which is amazing. Took it round the block for 10 mins and I didn't break down which was a good start But day 1 = problem 1 with these cars, it didn't feel like there was any boost under load, the turbo gauge sat just above 0 and didn't move, from memory (it's been a while) this used to swing about all over the place so apart from the obvious 'your turbo is shagged' is there something simple it could be? It was ok before it went into storage and hasn't moved for 5 and a bit years. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It's for an auto and thank you si, I will give him a bell next few days to check.
