  1. no sure how, but i just spoke to somebody who watch it live over the internet in the early hours, unsure of the quality tho.
  2. yeah your right, wonder how many download sites will crash on wednesday morning with people trying to get it, a few went down when heroes started again in the US, it will be 10 times worse with lost.
  3. starts in the UK on Sky2 on SATURDAY evening, a 2 hours start the series thing that they usually do, although i dont think anybody with any intrest in this thread will wait until then to watch it
  4. hmmmmmm, not as bad as i thought, but still pretty poor, full of chavs racing cars, worth a watch if you have a spare couple of hours but nothing to rave about, and the zed in it still looks mint compaired to everything else in the film.
  5. they just put a video on the website for lost previewing the new series, may contain spoilers tho, cant really tell maybe just another twist from the writers.
  6. you know this film is going to be so bad, but i still really want to get a copy. EDIT-just bought a copy, will let you know how bad it is when it arrives.
  7. thats what i was thinking cos its sooner an i have no patience but then i miss out on september, whats september usually like weather wise, is it raining and cold, i cant really remember as its never really been important.
  8. first year ive done this with the 6 month tax thing, when do u put tax on for the best weather, cant decide between 1st march or 1st april.
  9. just walk into any o2 shop with your bt number and 30 quid, you pay for the router upfront then they credit you account with £30 back to compensate it, then you also get 2 months free if you buy before the end of jan too. if you take in your bt number they will also do a check and give you an idea of the speed you will get. just make sure you get a mac code from aol to free up the bt line you are using, 5 minute call to aol will sort that for you. HTH
  10. think thats the key, if you have savings to fall back on for 6 months then there will be always something that turns up in that time(hopefully), without savings you will struggle, however i still think there are lots of jobs out there if you look in the correct places and swallow your pride, my little bro has just lost his job/left work in the construction industry due to work being on and off, just got a job full time and perm doing care work, will prob pull 900 after tax PM, enough to get by until things pick up again.
  11. stupid really because sellers cant leave buyers negative feedback anymore, so essentially you could buy anything for 1c/p and get a positive mark against your account. i wonder if paypal still take there 4% on the payment lol
  12. shame really as i would have gone for it, im pretty sure i will have sold mine before it actually becomes something you can buy in the UK.
  13. i had one done this year too as i wasnt sure if the club one was going to take off heres mine, ps3 game is for scale
  14. think your missus is winding u up mate, been around for a few weeks, very much doubt she started it, although if she did its quite impressive.
  15. there is no jacking up to change over PTU, its bolted onto the cam covers on the left hand side of the engine bay under/besides the hard pipes, just unscrew, unplug and replace, i think the starter motor prob needs jacking and other stuff to replace, but i know nothing about that, too complicated. good luck with it mate
  16. i went with rockford fosgate door speakers when i upgraded mine, second time i have had them in doors on diffrent cars and wouldnt touch anything else.
  17. could be PTU, when mine started going it would take ages to start up, then it started hesitating at junctions when pulling away, your in luck if it is that as they only cost about 30 quid and take about 1 minute to change over, althought that wouldnt explain the crunching sound?? best bet would be to try one thats working before you buy one if you know anybody locally with a 300.
  18. has anybody had any experience of how effective they are, i know the video looks good but reminds me of an american infomercial where you buy a situp machine and if by magic in 4 weeks you have lost 3 stone!!!!!, or not in most cases!!
  19. worst we have had so far today (and we have had lots in sheffield over last month), almost 6 inch fallen since this morning, meadowhall shopping centre has closed, all busses off, hardly any trains running, and its still falling
  20. what a great game, good to see some competition for taylor for a change, hope whitlock stays consistent and this will go all the way to the wire.
  21. i had a hire car a few years ago with work and it had a DAB radio in there and it was ok but was factory fitted so maybe would have had a special DAB arial fitted as standard??, not sure, just gonna be looking for a sony aftermarket head unit that will work with my CD changer but also has DAB, cheers for the reply tho mate.
  22. does anybody have one of these, and are they any good. my main question is do they hold signal well, i have a DAB radio at home and if you move it from one place to another in the house it picks up certain stations and looses others depending on where it is. is this going to be the same in the car, and do they work of the standard arial or do you need a new one putting into the car somewhere. cheers and happy new year
  23. minus 8 in sheffield this morning, costin me a fortune in deicer.
  24. heat around the edges of the lights with a hair dryer, it doesnt work straight away but after about 10 mins (on each light) you will start to feel movement when you push from the back, then just heat them up where needed, and they will start to come away from the car, you will need to heat the back stuff back up if you are going to fit the light back into the car unless you have some to replace it. it does take time, just use pleanty of heat and controled force and they will come out.
  25. that was the idea wasnt it, it wasnt about if it was a good song or not, or about who made the most profit from the sales, it was about trying to create a little competition around the xmas number 1 again and stop the machine that was/is the xfactor, it has become a done deal in recient years that the xmas number 1 is automatically the xfactor winner before we even know who has won or what song they will be singing. just for the record i think the xfactor song is ok, i would much rather listen to rage, although i dont have the radio on much on xmas day and dont think it will make a diffrence if it was number 2 or 1, they will both get the same airtime either way, lets hope next years xfactor compeitor is a half decient song and can get similar support. oh and i dont think for 1 second it was about joe, exactly the same would have happened if one of the others had won.
