Buyin a new car, what's your opinions
So I've decided I need a new daily car to get me to work ect, I have no idea what I want to buy but have about a 10k budget, could go a little higher if I find something perfect. I really couldn't care less about the looks of the car, the main priority is economy and cost to run it day to day with tax, insurance and mpg. So far the hybrids seem to be winning in the form of prius and Honda civic. Firstly does anybody have any experience of these cars in terms ofrepair costs and parts if anything goes wrong and secondly does anybody have any other suggestions or words of wisdom against the prius and civic. They both do about 60 mpg and cost about 20 quid a year in road tax. Cheers

International calling card? Anyone used one?
check out o2 home phone, its just launched and although it may not rectify your argentina issue it will certainly help out with calling the usa, basically for £12.50 line rental you can call the states for free and that includes mobiles. there are other international countries on there you can call free also so it may come in handy. check the o2 website, its not being advertsied at present much but there is some info on there and it is available now.

It's brilliant but I have a horrible feelng I'm going to be very let down by the ending, pattern seems to be 1 good episode followed by 2 crap ones. Not what I wanted from this series.

sound, going to get me a map tomorrow then, its a saracen vice, not sure if you can still buy them, but its in awsome condition and amazing to ride (apart from the weight of it), just put 2 new continental tyres on, a new rear wheel, had new chain set, new pedals, new lights and just got a new bike computer today. Had full service done on it too a few weeks back, did all brakes and gears and changed all cables, next job is some disk brakes i think, havent got any pics tho, will have to get some tomorrow when im out. ive also got a saracen jump bike but thats just as a back up, its only got 7 gears and no rear suspension.

SWB Rear speakers/sub? where have you put them?
obviously it wont matter too much to you having a vert but i did it like that and built an identical box with a removable lid for the other side to house the amp and have storage space for things. it just leaves enough space down the middle to fit the targas in there during summer. if i were to do it again i would either buy a less powerful amp/sub combination as the volume of the box isnt quite big enough and the amp has to be turned down otherwise the protection feature cuts in to stop it popping the speaker, still miles loud enough tho. or i would just build 1 box big enough for the speaker and somewhere for the amp to mount hidden out of the way with a large enough volume to cope with the power of the sub/amp. good luck whatever you decide.

SWB Rear speakers/sub? where have you put them?
not sure if the vert has the same boot depth as a SWB but if it does you can fit a 10" like this

Bloody potholes!!!
Happened to me in Leeds about a year ago, buckled an alloy and bust a tyre, I wrote to leeds council after a few calls and I did get a payout, they paid for a new alloy and tyre once I provided an invoice and pics of the damage and the pothole that caused it, they filled it in a few days later. I think of we all did it they would be much more on the ball with it and fill in holes much quicker

15 years in september
started work before i left school doing weekend work, then went part time going through college, then full time when i left college. Been in perm full time employment ever since (last 10 years), worked my way up the ladder and am now in a position where i could quite comfortably live from my salary for the rest of my life, and im only 27. who says you need qualifications, i have never been asked once what i achieved in school or college when being interviewed or applying for diffrent positions, you dont need it if you are prepared to be patient and work your way up the ladder.
