  1. yep, power steering fluid, mine used to do it until i filled it up and never done it since.

  3. defo repairable, take it to a decient upholsterers, they will just fix that part of the seat, they can usually get an identical match for the colour, i had my BMW Bolster done in black leather, only charged me 45 quid, and had the bolster on the zed done too, again 45 quid

  5. the panels are easy to do, im half way through mine at the minute, should be finished by the weekend, the seats on the other hand, i think they are a job for the professionals, i havent got a clue where to start with them, got quoted 500 in leatherette, or 1200 in leather.

  8. hasnt it gone down about 40 dollars a barrel in the last 3 months, and the price of fuel has dropped about 5-10p a litre max, robbing *******s
  9. think brand new stock tubs are only 400 quid a pair from Z1 in america, ill go for them if mine ever wear out.
  10. 6 of em got off the island, still no real anwsers, the rest got left behind, last series finished with some of them saying they had to go back, but not sure why??? basically they anwser a question with another question, like politicians really.
  11. get her an astra/focus and just take out the parcel shelf so the dog can see over the seats, do it in my astra all the time with my mates dog, get about 300-350 miles to a tank(40ish quid) and insurance is ok too, also they are better than a ****y 1.1 corsa/fiesta, and you can still sell the zed for something fast.
  12. This is going to be a good one, the track is soaking, and the cars are sliding all over the place, shame about hamiltons position but good for over taking and he's usually quite good in the wet.
  13. i know its a bit late now, but get cctv, somebody a few years ago kept standing nails up behind the tyres on my drive, i put up cctv in the day high up on the house so wasnt obvoius, caught them on camera, found out who it was and went a dealt with it in my own special way, hasnt happen since.
  14. im currently into my second day into re trimming my interior panel in the car with leather, its a swb so ive managed to do the lid and behind the seats, tomorrow im going to do the handbrake section going forward and the glovebox and under the steering wheel, the box and under the steering wheel look pretty straight forward, around the handbrake and the panels in front of them im not too sure about, anybody know of a guide or give me any tips on how to get them off with out breaking them, just been to look and i seem to be out of screws to undo and they still wont budge???? cheers

  16. £72 quid for a new passport, sent mine off yesterday, and my licence expires next october too! didnt even realise they expired FFS. on the brightside, i fixed my seatbelt, retracts like a beauty now.
  17. shiregreen mate, there is a few zed owners around the area, and a great mechanic who knows all about these cars over in rotherham so your in good company, any questions just post em up on the site, no matter how small you think they are, they have either been asked before or somebody knows the anwser somewhere.

  19. another clue, this started after i had washed the car a poured water over the targas to get the soap off, i heard a wierd gurgling sound prob from the targa drains which is where the sound is coming from, any ideas?? only does it when unlocking the car with the remote and stops when you open the car door, then starts again when you close it, in total for about 20 seconds??

  22. thats rubbish, he gave that place back then came from behind raik and over took on the next turn, what a poor decision, prob just want to keep it close.
  23. i agree, a4 all the way, thinking about one myself, not too expensive if your not too fussy about the milage its done
  24. did they heat up the nut, usually helps when trying to loosen them.
