there was a group buy on here about 6 month ago, do a search mate, and pm some of the people who bought it, they will be able to give you the most accurate feedback.

Since i bought the car about a year ago the drivers side window has always leaked when subject to heavy rainfall/hosepipe. The seals look fine to me, and when i push the window in slightly there is no leakage, so can you adjust the window to rise at a slightly diffrent angle so it pushes agains the seals better and if so how?? ps nowhere else on the car leaks and water only leaks through at a certain point on the window, ive attached a pic cheers

the time will come for me if anything major ever comes up that i need doing to it (turbos/head gasket/engine rebuild), basically if im going to have to pay out a few grand to keep her going, then that is the time i will think is it really worth it for the amount of use she gets, and the anwser will prob be NO.

i doubt its just the EVO forums that think the 300 is shite, i would imagine most of the modern performance car forums do, and prob some of the older car forums also, not that i really care, as ive said before, i dont care if my car is worth 1p, or everybody in the UK thinks is poor, im enjoying driving it, dont want it to make me any money (i go to work to do that), it makes me laugh how there are so many threads on this forum about how the 300 will be worth loads in the future, never gonna happen, i think people should enjoy what they have, hammer evo's all day from the lights when the chance comes up and not think about a pay out cos it will prob never happen.

my mate had a type r, not this new shape, the one before, had thousands under the bonnet, had lauch control fitted too, used to hammer most things over a short distance, not sure on BHP figures but was massivley fast for what it was, he sold it in the end when he managed to accumalate 9 points in 9 months, he now drives a volvo estate.lol.

mines running perfect since i changed the PTU, only thing that does my head in at the moment is the god damm brake pads squeeking, once i can bring myslef to buy some some more and stop the squeeking then all should be well.

looks quality, do it mate seems to have had the time and money spent on it similar to your zed, although not as much and in a diffrent direction.

as already said, R8 looks like a TT, where as the zed looks like nothing else and is much more eye catching

thinking of getting some better tyres for putting on when driving in the wet, anybody got any reccomendations, they dont have to be cheap, just want some that dont slip and slide at lights even under slight acceleration. cheers

i know its the wrong time of year for it really but i would put some calls in to a few garages, the matrix itself is only about 50 quid brand new, the labour cant be more than 70-80 quid. im gonna have to change mine in the new year as mine has no heat either hope it works out for you whatever you decide to do
