  5. No matter where you live in the UK,(excluding Midlands lol) no where would be local to you that has their expertise, service and knoweldge of these cars. smithy
  6. As stated here for your info. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1484964&postcount=6 and here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1484982&postcount=7 A chip can cost around 100 quid plus whereas re mapping existing ECU on rollers/road for a few hours and burning a chip off to suit could cost around 3-5 times more. Should you upgrade further, then re mapp again! Zedworld ones though more expensive, they do fully assess your engine first to ensure it is ful working order and boost leak free, they then road test and reasess again. John Dixon and DTA will either post you a chip for you to fit or supply a replacement ECU with a chip already in it on an exchange basis. When you think you have finally finished all your upgrades and are using bigger injectors and turbo's, then yep re mapp what you have to suit your specific engine and mods. smithy
  7. Ah now theres a point lol kinda forgot that part too :punk: smithy
  8. Phew, nothing too dangerous then :whistling: Glad your sorted anyways fella. smithy
  9. He's not still SWZ is he mate? smithy
  10. A re-mapp is possible, however it can be stupidly expensive for an engine with only basic mods. Once you go bigger injectors and turbo's with decent internals then yes in order to gain the most out of what you have. A decent chip like from Zedworld, DTA or John Dixon is much cheaper and easier. They are more than capable of dealing with the usual exhaust/induction/boost increase and many many have them. hth smithy
  11. Laquered my Plenum about 3 years ago with laquer imported from the US, droped 2 drops of Gold pearl in it too. Still exactly same now as it was done then and no polishing lol smithy
  12. I've had a few PM's about these sills asking if they are still in production, sadly they are not. These cost around 2K in development costs some years back and like all the other products i've done, 65-70% of customers were non UK. The risk though was that someone eventually would copy my products once known how we manufactured them here, the Indiglow sills are the last item copied by companies across the water and as this gives them minimal development costs but with a larger customer base, they couldn't be made here in the UK and still be viable. I do have an idea for a new product which i may do in the summer if i have time before i sell me Zed, they will be sold in 1 large batch only before someone has chance to copy it lol Sozz about the sills! 13. Full write up with pics in dannys DTA/Smithys traders section smithy
  14. Have you checked the relays/fuses in the main box in engine bay yet? dam site easier than the footwell one lol smithy
  15. First off you know thats 80 quid each disc, so 160 plus vat and delivery yeah? If both your discs are currently 280mm x 30mm then yep they is fine, looks like as said you either had the tt sized discs and calipers from factory or someone done it before you. Smithy
  16. Look at the relays in the large fuse box pasenger side front of engine, think it's a blue relay, should be marked on the lid anyways. You might be able to swap around 1 or 2 of them to confirm it is a relay. smithy
  17. Hire a car trailer for the day and a mate with a tow bar on his car/van and take it somewhere mate, whether south or up to Zedworld. It's outta yer way and you know a prefessional will tell you what's what so you can decide what to do. smithy
  18. Think Zedwizz was selling adapter plates for the bottom 2 pegs mate, ask him. Top hose is simply use a TT one and rad brackets are a struggle even using TT ones, could use the top stainless covers that Luke and Danny sell and simply drill 2 holes in the slam to fit, pretty easy. Smithy
  19. What are the problems fella? smithy
  20. Posted just couple days ago http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=147311&referrerid=119 smithy
  21. Oh man did yer really have to quote all 9 pics for just 6 words! Jamie isn't often on some adult sites is he mate and he's used to having his face marked out lol Insurance company could possibly write that off!!!! Just as well you can wave magic and have a shed loads of spare parts :2guns: smithy
  22. No idea on the brand soz but it does state the size of disc which is actually the TT size and the ad is for non turbo discs. No problem if you fit TT calipers as well otherwise your N/A calipers won't fit. Of course he may just be using a generic ad. Just worth checking first as there isn't a vast range out there for N/A's really/ smithy
  23. No idea on the arms but to save those doing the work http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150561873713&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_nkw%3D150561873713%2520%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 smithy
  24. SWAPSIES  Smithy
  25. Sizes are exactly the same, shape can be different between models and years. It's real easy to be exact, look at the 2 you have on your engine, select the same 2 from the pic on lukes website, job done! Smithy
