  1. Our hose is tapered mate, at the rad end it's 38mm and the Block alloy pipe end is 34mm. smithy
  2. What's the full spec on it Jim? i only ask cos am selling me own end of summer and was thinking a similar price. cheers Smithy
  3. If you mean the last link i posted, yes mate soz i just checked and it's for subscribed members only. It doesn't effect you tbh anyway if your a Jap spec, it was just to show everyone else that 7 years ago when i done a Group buy on pullies, we all discovered the differences between US spec and UK specs for the belts, there on for the next few years i always supplied the correct belts for UK cars and 94+ models when i sold the various brands of lightweight Pullies that i traded in along with the correct belts for a customers own supplied pulley. Cheers Smithy
  4. I knew i should have worded it differently! it's not JUST for him, it's for anyone else who reads it and various future searches later by members who then discover the issue over Jap/US and UK by buying the wrong size belt. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30631&referrerid=119 Smithy
  5. Bare in mind US links don't account for certain things that only relate to a UK Zed. US Zeds are the same as our Jap specs. Smithy
  6. Quick click of the search button and away yer go! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48137&referrerid=119 Smithy
  7. Re install the fan mate, as said if it comes on you got a problem somewhere else plus it's a great back up should your electric one for some reason malfunction or not cool things enough in busy traffic one day, it's a great failsafe. smithy
  8. It's for yer aircon and a sub fan, in the event yer temp starts to overheat this sub fan kicks in and very quickly cools things down. It also acts a sign of somethings wrong elsewhere, should this fan kick in and all temps appear normal, a fault is detected elsewhere and again keeping things cool. smithy
  9. Snip the 2 wires on top of your sterring pot, remove the solenoid unit, loop the 2 hoses into 1, job done. You can then also remove the lines from the front of the car to the back. If in the future you get an N/A pot, simply fit it. theres just as many still running the TT pump as there is the N/A pump after deleting hicas. smithy
  10. will someone pleeeeesssee resize this for me, fills the whole friggin screen smithy
  11. All those who rave FMIC take note of the set up above to achieve the best results  smithy
  12. In the link to the Japspeed de catts above, the 2 shorter pipes fit at the back of your turbo's, by being split in design allow slightly quicker spool up time. Most companies sell just them, however Japspeed only sell with their de catt pipes, (these attach to the above discussed pipes) fitting these if you don't have already have them any can add some decent extra BHP, if you already have the decatts, simply sell them on and just use the shorter wastegate pipes. smithy
  13. Ah that explains it, Godpseed use a lot of stuff from China and these have been made with 4 bolt flanges so as to fit the Zed, rather than the GTI-r Cheap enough like, you may as well get a set of waste gate pipes from Japspeed or Godspeed while yer at it, get a wee bit more oomph from them. These http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX-Turbo-Decat-Downpipes/p-18-1-248/ Smithy
  14. True t28's only ever reallly came in a 5 bolt fella, so not sure what it is your getting. A 4 bolt turbo is generally upto t25 size. Wanna show a link what your getting? smithy
  15. Well just a wee bit of work, pretty minor stuff. You'll need 5 bolt divorced wastegate pipes to mate up to your exhaust system. These will help with spool as the those T28's are mated to a 2 litre and we obviously have 2 x 1.5litre. smithy
  16. erm "ours are handed" so a left and a right then "clocked" usually means in anything turned, so in short undo a few bolts to turn it around so it faces the right way smithy
  17. They can fit and are t28's, 1 side has to be clocked though as ours are handed. smithy
  18. That's exactly why it ain't good, cheap crap intercoolers which HKS or Greddy didn't use. Remember there are countless types of I/C cores around, HKS amd greddy versions were around 4-5 times the price. On top of that, just those 2 90 deg right angle bends equals around 12 foot in extra length of travelled (hopefully) cooled air! ARC are the mutts nuts mate, stick with em! Oh and it's a copy of Greddy not HKS smithy
  19. Nifty idea, however could be a right dazzler in the summer and for me the font is awful! The R looks weird, the D looks like an I and a C A nicer font that makes the letters read clearly as they should would be much improvement imo smithy
  20. It's the water pump pulley that is slightly smaller on jap specs mate, that uses a smaller belt. smithy
  21. All it does is allow you to runner higher boost a bit more safely, doesn't make em much more capable of much more extra power. Our turbo's are technically a wee bit smaller than a 200sx (s13) T25 Smithy
  22. The company in the US is http://www.wheelchoice.com/ Can't remember the guys name at the mo, will see if i can locate it. You have to pick what you want, tell them the list and your year/model etc. You then get an email quoting your delivered price after delivery charges and agents fee etc, so best buy a few things! smithy
  23. Been around for years and many have tried to purchase from them. Some of us have used a guy in the US to act as an agent with much success. Will try and dig out details if wanted. smithy
  24. Are we talking the same thing here, cos there could be no real reason to NEED one asap mate, like said the one on ebay is all bling. smithy
  25. Ditto my good man :punk: smithy
